the rubber blocks are very well made, straps are cheap. very difficult to get a boat tied down tight / secure enough for highway car topping. (i am very experienced at this having hauled boats and gear all over US on cartop).best to attach front / back tiedowns to front back thwarts so you can pull straps to take out the slack. if front and back straps are vertical to the boat ends, this will allow for shifting of boat front / back.product is good for what it is, but this system is just not a good solution for car topping transport.

The canoe kit works great, Simple to use with a roof rack. If you don’t have a rack you might be disappointed with this setup. The blocks are soft and wobbly if just sitting on top of a vehicle. If they are used with aero bars on a roof rack it’s quite stable and secure. Taken my canoe on the Highway at 75 mph with no issues. The front and rear ropes are a good addition to the kit and are helpful when going highway speeds. Good value and should last a long time. I install the blocks on my canoe then load the boat on the roof and slide the blocks to the bars, much easier this way.

No usable experience with this product. It looks to be good quality. I am entrusting this to a high end cedar strip canoe and my car top directly. The finish on the canoe and my car top are my concerns . The foam blocks and strap abrasions need to be watched to see.Would not like to damage the gunnel to block abrasion or the hull from strap slap,

Broke after the first use. Waste of money.

This lasted me a total of 2 days. 2 out of 4 made it but I can’t do anything with the 2 remaining one’s I have. 2 of them completely shredded to pieces and flew off in the highway. The 2 left have tears. I would never recommend this product nor would I ever buy it again.
