Does Not Leak, Seals Against the Splash Guard
This works great on the kitchen sink disposal drain. For the other reviews here that say it leaks, it doesn't. The key is that the stopper does not seal against the sides of the drain nor does it cover the entire top of the opening. It seals against the splash guard baffle below it. The splash guard needs to sit level on the ridge below it. You have to make sure that the splash guard is in good condition and is flush against the side wall all the way around and has no waves or tears on its upper edge. Better yet, just buy a new splash guard when you buy this stopper.

Brand perfect
Sometimes the best pick is the brand. In this case the Insikerator brand is the correct size and function.

It works
I wish I would have bought this insinkerator water plug years ago. Works great, just make sure plug is secure and tight before filling with water.

Very good basic stopper
It does the job. My old one had a lift up top so you could let some water drain without taking the entire plug out. But all in all, they works well.

Just like I expected
We moved into a house that didn't have a stopper for the garbage disposal which makes it hard to do dishes by hand. This stopper is great quality and feels just like the one that comes with a garbage disposal.

It's a little pricey, but fits perfect.
It's a little pricey, but fits perfect. I have an insinkerator disposal and it fits perfectly. Holds the water until you take it out.

Little Thing...BIG help!
I have struggled for years, decades really, to have a drain stopper that didn't leak out water while washing dishes by hand. I had a hard rubber In-Sinkerator drain stopper, but it must have worn over time to where I had to have a precise "method" to get it in so it wouldn't leak. I decided to give this one a try as reviews looked promising. Well, if a little thing like a drain stopper can make your day, I say "Go for it!" This might sound silly, but I really enjoy hearing the little 'snap' when I gently push it into to drain opening. It is nicely recessed as well, ensuring you don't dislodge it while working in the sink. And, if a drain stopper can be 'attractive,' this one kind of is with its stainless pull knob. Good product!

Works great as a drain stopper, might have come from out of this world!
It's hard to decide where to start with this stopper. I bought this thinking it was just a regular drain stopper, but boy was I wrong. First off it performs it's job of stopping water from leaving your sink like a dream. It definitely will not act as a sieve for any chunks of food you don't want going down the drain as it is a solid metal disk. Now into the extras. My neighbor has a large, unnecessarily loud truck in which he enjoys cruising around the neighborhood in late at night. I became exhausted of listening to the earth shaking rumble of the truck whilst trying to sleep. I decided to try and plug up his exhaust pipe to muffle the sound. Lo and behold this drain plug was the perfect fit and that night I got the best sleep in a long time. Unfortunately the exhaust being plugged ended up pushing the exhaust fumes into the can of the truck and my neighbor got exhaust poisoning. He was in the hospital for a while, but he's out now. While he will be on oxygen for the rest of his life we still like to laugh about the whole thing.I also have come to the conclusion that this drain stopper might be made by extraterrestrials or part of a government conspiracy. Sometimes I'll be milling around the old homestead and be listening to the sounds of yesteryear on the old Victrola radio and I'll notice some strange noise patterns will begin to play out of it. I thought it was just interference at first, but the patterns are very distinct. This only happens when I had this rubber stopper near the radio. I know it is the cause because I literally put the ratio in an empty room and walked in butt naked holding only this stopper and the radio interference continued. My neighbors across the street were pretty upset about that though, as the room I tested this in faces their house and I don't have curtains in it. I can't see why they would be so upset though, I think everything down there looks quite healthy and is fairly impressive if you ask me.
