I really like this makeup cleansing gel. I initially tried it in the Curel tester set they have and fell in love. I did then get full sizes of everything. Works brilliantly to get makeup off. This is meant to be followed by the Curel foam cleanser so you get a double cleanse. It has a gel like texture but after the double cleanse your skin is left feeling squeaky clean. Although this gel is brilliant, I always use Garnier micellar cleansing water to take off eye makeup as I feel that’s more gentle than using this. I have dropped a star as I found this doesn’t last long, so not great value for money. I have swapped it out with the Curel makeup cleansing oil which really lasts and is easier to apply.

I love this and so does my skin! Which is unusual!! Gets everything off but my eyeliner which is Wonderskin designed not to remove easily, ha! But i just use cotton bud and micellar water for that bit. The overall feel both during and after is giving silky smooth skin. No other product comes close!

Melts foundation nicely but I do find I have to do the two step routine at least twice to get rid of everything and I'm always still left with mascara smears on my face which it struggles to remove. (my mascara isn't waterproof or anything). I love the foam wash, I havent tried the cleansing oil with it yet but I think it will work better than the cleansing gel did so I will order that next.

Gentle but effective Lasts ages

This is a makeup remover recommended by my dermatologist that won’t clog pores or cause breakouts. I need to wear sunscreen to reduce skin sensitivity, but micellar water isn’t an option because cotton pads irritate and worsen redness. Cleansing oils and balms don’t work either, as they typically contain fatty acids that feed Malassezia and can be hydrolyzed during cleansing. This is one of only two cleansing balms that are both seborrheic dermatitis friendly and suitable for sensitive skin. The other one is only 50 ml and costs 2.5 times as much, so I chose this one. I decided to write a review because it performs far better than I expected for the price. It’s very effective, helps loosen clogged pores and those tiny bumps, feels lightweight rather than greasy, rinses off quickly, and leaves my skin smooth and soft.

The consistency of the product isn’t what I expected from a cleansing gel. Its thick and very oily feeling and I expected it to be like a normal gel cleanser. I actually love it though. It takes off all my makeup and rinses completely clean with no residue and leaves my face soft and not tight. I use it as a first cleanse and use a different cleanser after. My skin is very acne prone but this isn’t breaking me out at all. I checked all ingredients before I ordered and it is noncomedogenic. I took off a star because the actual cleanser box was very dirty and beat up which made me suspicious but the tube looked totally fine so I decided to keep it and use it and so far it’s great!

I like it and it seems to remove makeup well but it irritates my eyes so I use the oil remover there. For skin that might be sensitive with the oil removers though, this is great.

Doesn’t dry out my skin. I’ve found I still have to use another product to remove waterproof mascara, so that’s why four stars, not five. A solid product, though.

I usually use their cleaning oil for two step cleaning but don’t want to travel with oil. Imagine what a mess that could make. So this stuff, being a gel, is perfect for travel.
