I have found that it is stronger when in contact with the skin so I would advise to string it on the cord and wear it on your neck so it falls at heart level. My only gripe is I wish they had included an information card to describe the meaning of the Rudraksha beads and that it is from Nepal rather than Java. In addition the number of Mukhis is important so as a new owner it would have been nice to know that a 4 Mukhi is used to enhance focus, concentration and knowledge. Since I am not familiar with the price of Rudraksha beads I cannot comment on the price or value, but I can say I love mine!
