I'm using it for something other than lotion, and it works beautifully. I love it, it's the size I needed. It has the black cap that goes over the dispenser, it looks elegant on my countertop. Crap
These bottles (and they are not cheap) do not work properly. When you use the pump, somehow liquid shoots out from the back and not from the pump. Will be sending these back.
