Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush with Mahogany Wood Handle

I bought this because I wanted to try Silvertip brushes and didn't want to pay 60-180$ for a brush. Honestly, it's a good buy (worth the price) even though I only gave it 4 stars. It didn't get that last star because it's made in China, the knot is a little bit smaller than I expected (it doesn't affect performance, but it's visibly noticeable), and the hairs will fall out at first (this becomes less of a problem with time), but it's still a great brush and I've been using it for about 5 weeks. I switched from an Omega boar hair brush (which is good if you like a more exfoliating brush), but I find that it's much more comfortable to use and easier to get a nice lather.

If you’ve never used a brush and bar soap, then your shaving experience has been stifled… I am a 50-year-old male that just started using a brush this year and the difference is notable. This is the second brush that I purchased, this is nearly twice the size of the first brush that I bought and somewhat softer. I Love this item… And, I highly recommend trying a brush and bar soap, in the long run it is much more economical and provides a much more comfortable, luxurious shave.

No need to spend $60.00. This brush is awesome.

I've used more expensive brushes that I liked a lot less. This is a high quality brush that brings a nice lather to the soap. Lost a couple hairs when it was new but after a couple uses I barely lose hairs at all. I used a brush almost twice the price of this for awhile and I swear it shed like a dog. Good value and a solid performer on the face. Nice finish and the silver tip is a luscious color.
