Are you looking for the best option to care for your reptile (or other small animal) that requires a heightened temperature in their enclosure? Reptile heat lamps are an important accessory to ensure the health and well-being of your pet. Our infrared spot bulbs are designed to provide your animals with proper heating to keep them comfortable and happy. The reptile heat bulb is an effective and affordable alternative to a ceramic heat emitter. The bulb emits a very low amount of mild red light, which will not affect the sleep of your reptiles. Our bulbs can be used not only for reptiles, but also as heat lamps for , amphibians, and birds. To ensure safety and to extend the life of our heat lamp bulbs for reptiles: - Use a surge protector. - Avoid extreme temperature changes when turning on the bulb. - Handle bulb carefully with a cloth. - Do not get hand oil on the metal of the bulb. - Use a good quality socket where the metal lead comes in full contact with the base of the bulb. A gap can cause the power to arc. - Please use with a ceramic hood, as the lamp will put out significant heat. We conduct a 3-step test on each reptile bulb to ensure proper functionality when manufactured. However, due to the nature of this specialized bulb, some units may not perform as expected. Should you encounter such a problem, please contact us. Order Yours Today!

Not impressed so far
I got these for my ball python. After only 6 days the first one is dead. Luckily I have a thermostat with alarm which let me know the Air temp was to low. That's when I saw it was already dead. I put in the 2nd bulb. I really hope it lasts longer, but I have my doubts. I give these 2 stars because when working they do a great job, but I will not likely be buying these again.

Helps keep cats warm.
I placed one of the two bulbs outside on my porch to help local cats warm up during cold days and nights. The bulb in use is working just fine.

3 of 4 bulbs didn't work
Very disappointed. I bought 2 packs of these bulbs. Only 1 out of 4 bulbs worked. By the time I discovered this, it was past the return window.

Didn't last
Put the first bulb in it lasted about 1 wk. before it burned out. We will see about the second one. Pretty expensive for working 1 wk. $8.00 a wk.

Only 1 out of 2 worked
This is a first. One of the bulbs was already burned out right from the box.
