We have a Havanese who has a very cotton-ie undercoat that becomes matted even when our dog is combed regularly. I have tried numerous conditioners and de-matters to no avail (I almost think some of them made it worse).The Bodhi conditioner worked wonders. After normal shampooing, I worked the conditioner in all over and into all the mats and brushed through with a rubber bathing brush after a few minutes. After rinsing and towrling, my pup was so much easier to comb. Truly amazing.And her coat is so soft now, and not greasy! I got the lemon scent and it's very nice. Not perfumy. I WI continue to buy this stuff.

I use this as a "cleansing conditioner" on my dry and senstive skinned pitbull breed. Even if I use a moisturizing shampoo, she will dry out and peel. Once a month I wet her down, apply this product with a heavy hand, and rub it into her skin. I let her sit for five minutes, then rinse. Her skin and coat are so soft and shiny! The best part is she itches less and it does not irritate. She also has a sensitive nose and does not like strong scents. The lemongrass scent is subtle, so she smells good but not overwhelming to her or our noses.

I was dog sitting for some family members last week and decided that I would give all of the dogs a bath before sending them home. I decided to get some conditioner designed for pets because one of the dogs had some thyroid issues and his coat has become very dry and brittle feeling. This product smells nice but is not overpowering. It helped make it easier to pick out knots of hair on two large munsterlanders. And made long and short hair coats of the different dogs feel softer and less brittle.

I love the smell of this conditioner but it rinses horribly so I had to spend a ridiculous amount of time rinsing it out. It does not seem to soften the fur as well as my other brand and leaves a residue if you don't get it all out, witch is common for any conditioner but seemed even more oily than most. I was really disappointed because as I mentioned, I love the scent!

My dog routinely chews hot spots in the late summer months. I used the shampoo, conditioner and spray. After washing/conditioning, I used the anti itch oatmeal spray on the hot spots daily. Did not cause any irritation. Did the trick, he stopped chewing and it smells fantastic!!!

My dog, Julius (hey, I didn't name him...he's a rescue) suffers from itchy skin. I have tried lots of conditioners and this one seems to really help him. It also helps smooth out his tangly hair, so he is much easier to brush afterward. I use either a Johnson's baby shampoo, an oatmeal-based shampoo, or one of those shampoos with no soap, follow with this conditioner, and then a hydrating, leave-in butter (Guava & Mangosteenby Warren London) and I have one soft and well-hydrated dogee on my hands!

I bought this conditioner because my dog's organic shampoo, which is great shampoo (4Legger), just didn't have a sufficient conditioner. I bought this conditioner to use with the 4Legger, and it works great. I'm so pleased with Bowie's coat, which is soft and silky and smooth. I was afraid that since he has sensitive skin that it might itch, but he hasn't itched a bit since using it. Thanks for a great product.

Only reason I haven't given this 5 stars is I have only used it once. Made combing out my Silky Yorkie while wet a breeze. Smells nice and most importantly doesn't seem to aggravate his skin. I will update my review when I have used it more. Company was extremely easy to deal with. I would recommend this product for anyone who has a long haired dog.
