Kenney Rogers No Tools Tension Window Curtain Rod, 48-84, White

I was a fool and didn't read the reviews before buying this.... I wanted a TENSION rod.. you know, one with spring tension to hold it in place inside my window frame, but this does not have any tension, it's simply telescopic, meaning it can slide open to 48", but there is NO tension to hold it into the window... to use this rod, you'd need to screw curtain brackets onto the wall outside of the window and place the rod into them, which defeats the purpose. I am not happy with this false advertising. If you're looking for a tension rod, do not buy this.

Does not hold a single doorway curtain up. Falls randomly in the middle of the night. I think it is deliberate and is trying to scare the ever living heck out of me and give me a heart attack. It seems to fall more at night. If there is a special someone in your life that you detest (who also has a heart condition) I suggest you buy them this rod to scare them while they are fast asleep. It will either do the job or convince them that they are being haunted.Tension doesn't hold and extremely hard to set. It's not a spring so trying to fit it in the door way is very difficult and then it lets go for absolutely no reason. Do not buy. I will not be buying again

The first one that I received didn't work. The mechanism by which it could get a grip within the window area did not work.It was too loose and could not adequately adjust or tighten at all.I returned it, and requested a replacement.The second one that I received was locked into position. There was no way to adjust it.I have tennis elbow, and I actually incurred further injury by trying to adjust this impossible piece of garbage.I returned the second one, and did not request a replacement.p.s. I've had ten years experience in home renovations. I am a "handyman", so this shouldn't be a problem for me.

This took a long time to get and, when it arrived, I am unable to put it together. A man even tried but it is made wrong. A nipple is inserted into the end the extension go into and it cannot be removed even with pliers so it cannot be put together. Now I have to go through the process of returning it which is a total inconvenience and our printer is not working so I am definitely not happy.

Bought this to put a curtain across a closet, but the rod is much narrower and somewhat delicate. I purchased brackets to reinforce it but I still fear it won't hold an actual curtain for long. Even in a shower, someone yanking open the curtain will likely pull it down.
