This shifter was very easy to install and is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also allows for smoother shifting (at least anecdotally) than the stock shifter. Although I don't think it should be as expensive, I'm very satisfied with this product overall.

Brought this shifter to replace the stock shift knob on 2020 trd sport, Shifting experience improved, stock shift knob is small not comfortable, many time shift knob slip out of my hand while shifting..After replacing with trd pro knob made the shifting experience more better..Little tip for installing, put some pipe threads tape on shift rod before spin the new knob on and to tighten at the center position, because its not going to tight at center if you just spins it on.A little too pricey....

Genuine Tacoma TRD Shift Knob.First this knob is a great replacement for the 6 speed manual TRD Offroad knob. The price was alittle to high in my opinion for what it is but you pay for the TRD part! Knob feels and looks better installed and i enjoy it only reason i gave 4 stars was the price.

I didn’t consider any other shift knob, really. This TRD knob is a perfect fit and allows for the shift boot fastener to secure onto the base. Rowing through gears is a joy. Slight user adjustment from factory knob, as this knob is larger and fills the hand more, but no regrets. It’s a bit pricey but we’ll worth it IMO.

I bought this TRD shift knob for my 2019 tacoma with a 6 speed manual transmission. The looks of it is nice, but the deal breaker for me was the weight and shifting of it. The black oem one is heavier than the TRD which you can feel the "crunch" when shifting gears. I did not have that feeling with the OEM black one at all. Another issue is shifting the thing down to second gear which bothered the crap out of me because it felt awkward. This thing is definitely for pure looks and nothing else.

Looks and feels better than the OEM Sport manual knob, but a bit lighter, wish Toyota made them a bit heavier.

Very easy to install and looks much better than the stock knob on my 2018 Tacoma. I only wish the TRD knob had the same, or slightly more, weight to it than stock. However, even with the lower weight, the TRD allows for smoother and faster shifting due to its more ergonomic grip.The TRD knob is slightly over priced when compared to aftermarket, but I'm happy to pay the premium for a genuine Toyota part.

Very good quality but it’s for a 6speed and I had to return it. I haven’t been able to find the correct one on Amazon.
