I love these bulbs!
I love these bulbs. They solve the major problems that have plagued LED bulbs, that being the incompatibility of LED bulbs with dimmers. I've tried several brands of "dimmable" bulbs, but they all seem to have similar problems. Almost all of them buzz when they are dimmed. Almost all of them don't have a warm glow at the lowest setting. Almost all of them dim to a point and then dramatically turn off. Almost all of them, if you can get them to a low setting cannot be turned on and off at that setting. If a bulb performs well for one or two of these challenges, it fails miserably at the others. For example it may not buzz, but it only seems to dim to half brightness. These bulbs solve these problems in a very creative way -- by not using a dimmer! They change brightness by flipping your light switch off and on within 5 seconds. There are three brightness settings, Bright, Medium and Low. I find that these three settings are just right. For instance, in our living room, we keep the light on Low when watching a video, Medium is good for entertaining, and Bright is good for housecleaning. We have chandeliers that have multiple bulbs. We've found that having 6 bulbs on Bright is overpowering in a bedroom, so we put low powered nightlights (1/2 watt LED) in 2 or 3 of the sockets and used these bulbs in the rest. Perfect! If you turn the lights off for more than 5 seconds the bulb remembers your last setting and that is the level of lighting that you will get when you turn the lights back on. There are some other brands that are similar to this bulb, but they reset to high whenever the lights go off. I think it makes much more sense to return to the level of lighting the way it was before. In our Living room we usually keep the lights on low, and just occasionally want it brighter. These bulbs remember our preference, the other brand does not.I liked these so much I bought a dozen more and took out some of our dimmers and replaced them with old fashioned switches. Be warned, these do not work with dimmers! Some dimmers make them flicker, even when they are set to full power. So you might want swap them out for regular switches. But the good news is that you can add 3 levels of lighting in places where you never had it before. If you have several bulbs in a light fixture, occasionally their brightness levels will get out of sync with each other. I think this happens if you flash the lights off and on too quickly. When you want to change light levels turn the bulbs off and wait a second before turning them back on. If they do get out of sync, toggle the switch very quickly a few times and all the bulbs will reset to their brightest level.

Look! No Dimmer Switch Needed!
We were skeptical at first, but pleasantly satisfied with these led bulbs requiring no Dimmer switch. Simply replace the bulb, and your non dimmer switch acts as a dimmer with a few flicks. You can leave the light to come on as high, medium,or low consistently by following simple instructions which comes with the bulbs.

yellower light good for nights
Doesn't cover the whole spectrum of lighting possibilities (get it?), but does hit the three you most commonly want: bright blueish daylight, bright yellowish evening light, and a dim, yellower light good for nights. Works painlessly as a drop-in replacement for standard bulbs on standard switches and fixtures (you don't need three-way wiring or switches or anything like that), you flip the light off and on again quickly to switch to the next setting. The one caveat is that if you have a multi-bulb fixture and flip the lightswitch too quickly, some of the bulbs will change but some won't. Now that I know not to do it too fast it's not really a problem, but when it did happen I'd unscrew, just enough to break its current, the odd one out for a second to switch only it. Not a big deal.EDIT: I thought of one thing wrong with them: the color cycle is in the wrong order. It's white -> dim yellow -> bright yellow, the last two should be swapped, because that's the order you'd want to follow in a typical day. Not a big deal, obviously, but hopefully they'll fix it in a future rev.

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THESE
I do not like smart lights. I don’t like having to be dependent on wifi for my damn lights to work. BUT I love being able to change to different color temperatures throughout the day to fit my mood/energy. I searched high and low on Amazon for about an hour, resigned to having to get “smart” lights or just get 4000k lights as kinda the best of both worlds (but not really) and then I ran across these lights and they are EXACTLY what I wanted. I don’t know if “scene switch” is the industry term because typing in “color changing lights” just gets you the RGB party color lights but THESE were all the natural colors I wanted and all I have to do is turn the switch on and off to cycle through. Perfect. Yes. I use three for my living room lamps and I love them. Cool 5000k in the day to get me moving and 2500k late at night to get my insomniac brain to start to shut down. My only wish is that they had something stronger like 1000 lumens but I’ll take what I can get.

Philips makes best smart bulbs. Here’s how to reset.
After experimenting with several brands, I like Philips hue the best. Most of these bulbs have a reset sequence where you turn it on and off, but the problem I found with other brands is that after a thunderstorm, it will often reset the bulbs and you have to reprogram them. Also, other brands require a hub and/or app, which makes it impossible for a newbie. Also, the Philips hue are easy to reset, like if you change your network name. In the Alexa app, you just select the Philips light. In the upper-right hand corner is a help icon. That icon takes you to a page where you can enter the 6-character hex code, which is next to the QR code on the bulb.

My package says 650 lumens max, not 800 lumens as in the current product description...
These are a great idea and work very well, with three brightness settings of varying warmth, but no need for a 3-setting switch or a wifi connection. They fill a niche that I think a lot of people would be happy to know about, without the fuss of wifi but with a satisfying range of lighting options. The daylight setting is a nice clean white, the middle (warm-bright) setting is noticeably warmer, and the low setting is very warm and pleasant, and not too bright. They're also great for our toddler, who has always been hard to keep away from any light switches he could reach, and now loves choosing the right lamp setting for the time of day, not to mention that he can switch these bulbs off and on repeatedly without resetting their wifi connection, since they don't have one. The couple of Ikea floor lamps we put these bulbs in are basically "his" lamps now. However, the current listing information is inconsistent. Is this an 800-lumen bulb (800/800/80) or a 650-lumen bulb (650/650/65)? I received the 650-lumen version, to my disappointment, but they're still a decent product.

Excelente calidad y precio.
