I am very happy to have purchased this clear vinyl tablecloth cover. I have a custom Amish made maple table that I want to keep in pristine condition. I actually put this cover over top of the tablecloth. I have many times since receiving it thanked my forward thinking every time someone spilled on at the table. It is thick enough to stand up to centerpiece and not have a permanent imprint from the lazy Susan. It wipes up nicely as well. When you take it out of the packaging to put on the table, use a hair dryer on low setting to smooth out the fold marks. It works very well and does not distort the lay of the vinyl at all. It also stands up to radiated heat from dishes placed on the table with a trivet or hot pad just fine. I like the fact my table linens will no longer be in danger or getting stains I cannot get out. I would say this vinyl is definitely worth the price of the purchase.

We're hard on our table it becomes a work and repair station. This plastic tablecloth has protected our table and cloth tablecloth very well. It's not heat resistant though and it's very shiny which can be glaring.

Men! Sorry I do not mean to insult all men, but it seems the men around here do not pay attention to what they are doing on my kitchen table or what may stain my tableclothes. No matter how many times I had asked, I would find my tablecloth stained with some substance or another. So, I decided that covering my clothes would solve the issue and allow me to have seasonal tablecloths was the solution. After researching many clear plastic coverings and seeing many complaints that the plastic was thin I decided to try this one. And I am happy I decided on this clear tablecloth as it has saved my relationship and my remaining tablecloths! It is very thick,clear, and easy to wipe clean. I believe itis sturdy enough to last for a number of years no matter what may be spilled on it. It doesn't look like cheap plastic. only as what it is intended to do, to protect what is underneath it. I would highly recommend buying it and I plan on buying more.

It’s not as heavy as I had hoped. It’s rather medium weight. It’s nice though, and as described. No nasty smell. I reduce one star because of the wrinkles. I really wish they could fold it in a way that wouldn’t leave wrinkles. It will probably have fold lines for the life of the product, like my last one did. I will probably buy again, if I can’t find the heavy one I’m looking for.

I waited for a couple of weeks to write this review.Read through to the end to find out why we waited. We bought this to protect our natural unfinished wooden table. We love the way it looks and do not want to ruin it with stains, so this tablecloth keeps it looking new. It is waterproof and allows us to use the table without any fear of anything getting through. The tablecloth is thick vinyl, very pliable and allows our beautiful wood table to show through, except for one thing. When you unpack the tablecloth, the fold marks (creases) are highly visible. We waited for a couple of weeks to see if they would disappear. Well they did not, and they are just a visible as the first day. We searched the internet for ways to get rid of them, and heat seemed to be the only way. I am not risking using high heat on a vinyl tablecloth, even with protection between the heat source and the tablecloth. Vinyl is very easily damaged with heat. So, we decided to live with it while we look for something better. The fold marks look terrible and it is an eye sore on our beautiful table. The tablecloth does protect our table, and therefore I give it 3 stars for doing its job protecting our table. It just looks bad.

Nice quality, not heavy, easy to use and install. Used it for a guest room table. It’s wonderful and worth the money.
