Purchased as a gift.

I have a house in France that I'm restoring and decorating.Nothing special here for me. I really wanted to like it... The pictures of the author were pretty, but the decor was not very inspiring. I love seeing photos of unique homes, but this house is pretty generic.The only thing useful to me was learning that urban outfitters and anthropologie now have outlets in France.

All of the resources mentioned in the book are in France, so if you can make that work, more power to you. However, for me, I was looking for resources here in the States that would allow me to decorate in the French style.

Pretty book, style included isn't very Parisian but a nice read.
