Purina Pro Plan Sport Performance 30/20 Salmon & Cod Formula Dry Dog Food - 33 lb. Bag

Dog had allergies. It's a great food.

We received a 33 lb bag of Purina Pro Plan Salmon, and Cod, on Feb 28, 2023. I have ordered my dogs their food for years and used Amazon. I like that it is delivered to the house, since it is a heave bag. After receiving the bag I was transporting the dog food to our dog food container and I notice three odd shaped things in the bag. To describe them they were about the size of a walnut and were spongy. Truly it was not dog food. At that point I threw all the food out. I wrote Amazon and they referred me to Purina customer service. After explaining what happen to us to Purina customer service and offering to sent them the objects. I was scared and upset for my dogs, I threw out $77.00 worth of food, money I can not afford.I did get a reply and this is what they did for us.Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry this happen. Here are three coupons to apply toward another bag of Purina dog food. But they have to be used by the end of March as they will expire. This was on March 13th when we received the coupons. So we have 18 days to use the coupons. The three coupons were for a free 25 lbs bag and two coupons were for $1.00 off dog food. Yes $27.00 dollars for a $77.00 lost. Basically i felt they were saying here take this now go away. I want to add I offer to send them this spongy objects, hoping they can figure out where if came from, but they did want to see it.So buyer beware. Please check the dog food you put in your dogs bowl. Just do not assume it is dog food. I will not give my dogs Purina any more for two reasons, one this happen and two Purina could care less that this happen.Not a good company to work with. Do they really care about our pets they are selling this too???? I would say no!!! Just please be aware what you are feeding your pets, especially if it is Purina.

It’s nice to have your dog food delivered It’s easy for me to order it I have it on auto ship. That way comes every two weeks. Sometimes I may have to go to the store and get some before I run out because they don’t make this one in a large bag. This type is very good for the dogs to eat.

This is the only food my dog tolerates. She is active and hard to keep weight on. With other food she would need to eat so much to stay at a healthy weight. She also has a touchy stomach and has not had any allergies or digestive trouble. Our vet recommended it and we are sticking with it.

She had fish breath. I would stick with purple bag chicken/rice. Her teeth and breath have no build up or smell.

The box was open. The bag inside was ripped open. Most of the bag is all over my front porch.
