Awesome bed, but with one flaw I hope the manufacturer rectifies! (Update 2 - they took care of it, see review)
We got this bed for our six-year-old daughter, and so far she *loves* it. Assembly was very smooth, the component quality is high, and the combination of back-lit headboard and remote control make it a super-duper hit with our daughter.*However*, the insert we received with our unit contains blatant advertising for the manufacturer, as shown in the attached photos. I have contacted the manufacturer about this, since that advertising is clearly not shown in the current product photos, and I have asked for a replacement without advertising. I will come back here and update with the results.So, overall, we love the bed, it's high quality, but we most definitely do *not* like the embedded advertising that came with ours.Update: the manufacturer responded that the image with advertising was 'filler' and that the expectation is that you will purchase a replacement.Update 2: well, after a couple of years the manufacturer had a change of heart and has replaced the insert with advertising with one that does not have advertising. Good on them for making this change, but it sure took them a looooong time. Raising the review to 4 stars (from 3).

Five hundren Fake out
But the pictures you see on the headboard are slide in pieces of plastic that you have to buy separate if you don't want the gereric one they send you. Otherwise beautiful quality, a little pricie

Great bed - excellent quality
We purchased the double shaker bed and trundle about a month ago. I am very impressed with the quality of the pieces. Both went together exactly per the instructions in a bout 15 minutes for each piece. Our son just loves his new bed and the night light timer feature. I fully recommend this product as it meets an exceeds my expectations.

What a neat bed
Great packaging. I was worried about the shipping. Was better packed in the box compared to a competitor I had ordered for my other child.The bed is wonderful. I love how it has a slot in the footboard for the extra sheets.Love the remote. I can stand at the doorway and adjust the lighting etc.Wish we could purchase copyrighted images like Disney, Pixar, etc.. Kid movies and TV shows.. Will have to try and make one myself through their website and see how it ends up..Wish this was around when I was a child!

Best Gift Ever!
I purchased this bed for my niece as a gift, she loves Disney's Frozen so with the bed I also ordered three different of the interchageable HeadLight Images featuring Anna & Elsa. While she was away at summer camp we set up the bed in her room and when she came back she was over the moon excited!! I am seriously in running for "best aunt of the year" for this gift! Her friends all now each want beds! My mom (her grandmother) is super excited too because now it's easy for her to get gifts for her in the form of new interchangeable images. My niece has also created her own personal HeadLight Image that is a collage of photos from her summer camp adventure!

High Quality, AWESOME bed!
I received this bed about a week ago in the chocolate finish and I love it! It was extremely easy to put together (took less than 30 minutes for complete set up), the materials are high quality, and it looks amazing in our home. This bed is for my 7 year old son and he loves that he can have his personalized headlight on at bedtime, and I love that I can set a timer so that it doesn't stay on all night. The brightness is adjustable and you can even it set it to fade to off with the timer. I would absolutely recommend this product to any parent! Plus, with the ability to easily change and store the headlights (storage in the footboard), I know that I can continue to customize this to grow with my son. We will be using this bed for a very long time.Note: Beds come with a $20 gift certificate to order another headlight on the manufacturer's website for even more personalization and options.Disclosure: I received this bed in order to facilitate my review. Awesome Beds!
Our family has 4 of the LightHeaded Beds because we have 4 kids. We didn't start with 4 but but once one of the kids had a bed all of the kids had to have one. My daughter has the shaker white. It looks great. The assembly was super easy, the rails hook into the headboard and footboard. I like that the bed includes slats so we only needed a mattress and not a box spring. The light really looks good, especially a night. My daughter uses it. She has different images that she switches out and puts the extras in the footboard. We plan on her having it well into her teenage years because we can just change the picture and the quality is really good.

Awesome Bed!
I love this bed and so does my son. The bed is extremely sturdy and well made. I love the design and the color. The set up was easy and the instructions were great. My son loves changing the images. He spent the first day it was up going through the images and generally trying out his new cool bed. He now gets excited to go to bed and enjoys turning on his light. The image and light quality is great. We especially love the dimmer and fade to off feature. He starts out with it really bright which comforts him when going to sleep and then I can dim it so its just a nightlight. It really is a great bed and will be loved for years to come. I think my son will enjoy the image aspect even when he is a teenagers because of the ability to change the images as his passions change. We are planning on getting one for his little sister when she gets a little bigger. She thinks the image is pretty cool too!
