Keracolor Color + Clenditioner Hair Dye for Brunettes, 2 Colors

I was nervous after reading reviews because I didn’t want clown red or orange, I wanted my old highlights to take on a true rose-gold, pink, or strawberry blonde tint, and a subtle warmth for my overall medium brown. Based on reviews with pictures, I decided to apply to DRY hair for 10 MINUTES ONLY, and go from there, since this product is meant to build over multiple uses. As you can see in my after pictures, I got exactly what I wanted! My old highlights are a pretty, peachy pink, and my brown hair that has copper and chocolate lowlights took the warm tint somewhat better than my virgin roots. Color did not take at all to my grays, but I wasn’t expecting it to. I plan to repeat use over my next couple washes, on wet hair, just to make sure it doesn’t fade too quickly, and maybe add a *little* more color, then alternate with the Clenditioner without color to maintain. Product does seem to clean and condition well, but after rinsing with cool water I followed up with Boldplex deep conditioner, as well as my usual Ouai hair oil, and Redken frizz spray, blew out, curled with a wand, and brushed. Very happy with results, but encourage careful thought about how to use this product depending on your hair and desired results. UPDATE: after first use, I went a couple days without shampooing (used dry shampoo in my roots once), then I applied this product (rose gold for brunettes) to dry hair again, again for about 10 minutes. Rinsed and conditioned with Ouai conditioner for fine hair. The blonde highlights seem like they have LESS color now, not more! (Car photos from today.) Which is really weird because I have not shampooed at all since first use, and have applied again! I’m still happy with the look, and totally ok with the variation in the depth of the color and how it seems like it will change constantly depending on how I’ve reused/skipped the product, shampooed/not shampooed, what products I’ve used or not, etc. Just very strange and inconsistent with other reviews that say with multiple use the color intensifies. I guess I won’t follow with the Ouai conditioner…. Apparently this is a process of trial and error. Looking forward to trying the purple after I’ve enjoyed various iterations of the rose gold. Might try mixing them first!

I know the intention of this product is to help keep your color in between dye jobs but NOT FOR ME! :) I have naturally curly stubborn hair. I've been dying/bleaching my hair roughly for the last 24 years. Any hair color I've tried in the past has usually always turned copper-ish no matter what (besides the bleaching, of course). The first time using the rose gold I applied it to dry hair left on for about a half an hour. The result was very slight pinkish red....like the resulting color if you left a red sock in white linens in the washer. It was pretty but not for me. For the last 2 weeks I've been applying this AMAZING PRODUCT every couple of days, to dry hair, for at least a half an hour before I shower. My hair is not only a lovely color of Merlot, but it's back to being soft and looks soooo much healthier. Plus it smells absolutely amazing. IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR HANDS TO MATCH YOUR NEW HAIR COLOR, WEAR GLOVES. I would absolutely recommend.

I use this to convince my 4 year old fine haired curly girl to let me wash her hair. It colors lightly, smells nice, and leaves her hair super smooth without weighing it down. I have even used it on matted chunks that she has been trying to hide from us and it helps them slip out with minimal struggle. It will stain things. A lot. But since we now exclusively use this in the shower that hasn't been an issue for us.

Okay so I was not going to write a review BUT I feel like this may be helpful. Keep in mind I have dyed my hair A LOT and I have a lot of experience with dying at home. This also means that my hair has been quite damaged so I was excited by the idea of color depositing conditioner. I got this product a couple days ago and decided to do it yesterday, which I shouldn’t have done because I had to go to work the next morning and I was freaking out right before bed. I first used the regular rose gold and it did nothing. I put it on dry hair and left it for 20 minutes. When I washed my hair it ended up being patchy. I then decided to use the rose gold for brunettes. Keeping the comments in mind I put it on 50% dry hair and left it for 10 minutes. When I washed it out it was BRIGHT pink. I went to bed, having a mental breakdown, and decided to shower in the morning to try and make it fade. I shampooed 3 times and used the Sauce Beauty guacamole hair mask, which I really recommend! When I got out of the shower my hair was way more faded. One of the hugest gripes I have is that it turned most of my hair bright pink but it didn’t get my roots at all. My natural hair isn’t even very brown. Maybe if I keep using this it’ll work on my roots but that was kinda disappointing.

I love this color depositing conditioner. I got a balyage early this year and the the color was fading and it was starting to look very brassy, so when I found this product, I was excited to try it. After reading reviews, I decided to apply it to my hair DRY and let it sit for about 30-60 minutes and it worked SO WELL. The color lasts through a few washes if you do it that way, although the hue starts pretty strong lol. I like that you can curate the strength of it based on how long you keep it in your hair. It's definitely a pinkish red for sure, and looks more pink the more it washes out, but it can also be a super vibrant red at the beginning. I love it and have gotten many compliments!

This was the first time I was trying something besides permanent hair color because I’m trying to protect my hair a little bit more since I had been highlighting it for a while. I have been looking for a product that will look colorful on the light parts (Hopefully, including the gray hairs) and just kind of tint, the rest of my dark hair. I like this product because you can make it brighter or less bold just by how you apply it, how much time you let it sit, how many times you apply it, or even how often you wash your hair. It’s super simple to put on. I bought myself a box of plastic gloves and just use that to put it on. I don’t use a brush, I usually apply it dry and let it sit for like 30 minutes or whatever the instructions say. If you have darker haired, definitely use this brunette version as opposed to the regular rose gold. This will give you much better color. I have tried both. The picture with the cat shows it directly after I’ve applied it. The picture in front of all the math shows how it’s mellowed. Doesn’t cover as much as I hoped but it kind of distracts from it so I’m fine with that. I’m gonna try a bunch of different colors and just see which one I like the best!

I really like this! It’s not recommended for brunettes (I have blonde-ish highlights), but it actually tones my hair in a really nice subtle rose-y gold way. It also smells good and doesn’t irritate my scalp like other brands I’ve tried. I will definitely be buying more because rose gold is hard to maintain in between hair appointments.

There is 2 different shades of Rose Gold. One is simply labeled Rose Gold, the 2nd is Rose Gold for brunettes. The title (for brunettes) is not obvious or made clear. I've used the Rose Gold many tmes before, love the color, received many compliments and gave credit to Keracolor products. - But when ordering last time and just looking for the Rose Gold color, I mistakely ordered the one for brunettes. I didn't know there was one Rose Gold for brunettes and one for lighter hair! But applying the clenditioner to my hair tonight, I found out. This color is so strong and very unflattering on me -I'm naturally a dark blonde with fair skin- my hair now is a carrot red shade instead of shiny dark blonde with rose shading . This should have 2 different names- very easy to mix up! I'lm very unhappy this difference isn't explained in website more clearer -and unhappy my hair isn't in the Rose Gold shade I love.

Justo lo que quería! Funcionó perfecto. Me encantó el color. No dura más que 1 o 2 lavadas pero por algo no es permanente.

J'adore le produit. Donne un rose intense si laissé 10 min sur les cheveux et utiliser avec mon shampoing pour conserver la teinte rosée.

Este color tiñe muy bien el cabello, el color es bonito.

Pretty impressed with this, has taken the edge off my greys whilst I grow it out. Doesn’t stain your hands, just wash them with soap straight after.
