Great starter kit
Bought for our 14 year old who is just starting to learn guitar. The kit comes with everything you would need to get started, and more. Setting up was incredibly easy, even for a novice and the kit includes a tuner which is easy to use. The amp is small which means the sound is not too loud but still clear - very bearable! The guitar is light weight and easy to hold - we thought the full size guitar might be a bit big but that isn't the case. For the price i would definitely recommend!

Great guitar and amp for a very reasonable price.
Did a troll of the internet and found several reviews of this guitar package and all were complimentary, not been disappointed! If you're just starting out as I was then have a go.

Amp broke on first day
My son was so thrilled when he got this for Christmas… move on to a couple of hours later and the amp stopped working so we are having to send the whole set back :(

Don't buy! Poor build quality.
I had reservations about buying this due to it being cheap compared to brands, but due to logistic issues with another purchase was forced to buy this for Xmas day delivery.Plugged the jack in on Xmas day, and the receiver disappeared behind the scratch plate.Upon removing it all and retreading it, I tightened it as much as I could, but the second I put the jack in again it pushed straight through again, popping the poorly machined nut clear off the threads.I have a disappointed 3 year old, merry christmas

Very impressive for such a budget price!
You get the complete package with this guitar including the amp, tremolo bar, strap, cable, strings and a tuner!First impressions the guitar is super light, and I mean it is the lightest electric guitar I have ever held! This is a little worrying as I'm concerned how durable the construction is inside the guitar. Upon further research the guitar is constructed from poplar wood, although considered a hardwood tree it's wood is very light and more akin to a softwood. This makes for a very lightweight construction however it is more fragile than other woods and more likely to break. The guitar features one volume knob, two tone knobs, a five way switch and a standard bridge. As expected all the hardware is basic however the bridge seems to be intonated well and the standard strings could easily be upgraded. It is really nice to see a strat style headstock that allows you to modify the guitar. The fretboard and neck are very impressive. The neck is straight and true and there are no buzzing frets. The fretboard is nice and dark, no knots and made well. The frets are standard sized frets all of normal spacing in a vintage style. The guitar plays really nicely. The setup is made well and is ready to play straight away. The dot inlays on the fretboard are all uniform and in a perfect straight line which is very impressive for a budget guitar. The biggest surprise on the neck of the guitar is it comes with a bone nut! Usually they are made from plastic on cheap guitars but this one is actually made from bone. The bone but is nicely slotted and the spacing on the strings really well. The neck is made from maple and has a natural feel which is not too glossy that makes it easier to hold. The green paint job is stunning glossy and is very eye catching.Perfect guitar for your child / beginner or if you are looking for a modding platform to build your own guitar! For the price this is super value.
