My husband is Dutch and this was his favorite book growing up. We're thrilled it's been translated into English so we can share it with our American friends. So far, everyone that we've given a copy to has loved it!

My kids destroy toys. It’s kinda their thing. And they are obsessed with trucks. Other than being frustrated that the trailer doesn’t come off, this had stood up well.

Loved it. Lots of great nights reading adventures with my six year old.

One of the best toddler books from The Netherlands. don't forget to buy others feom the same writer.

Wonderful story. A Dutch classic!

I love this book! It is the book for children I wish I could write. The quirky tales are imaginative and laugh out loud funny and accompanied by delightful artwork. We borrowed a copy from a friend and I just had to have my own!

What an amazing discovery. I have read this book and loved it from the beginning to end. The illustrations are absolutely amazing and beautifully compliment the text. The short chapters makes it easy for young children to read alone but the book lends itself to be read aloud as well. The story of little Pluck, who lives alone on the top of a tower building, doing good in the community and encountering an array of characters will delight children and adults alike. Highly recommended. I am glad that Pushkin has published and translated this new edition.

Brilliant condition, good value. This is a keeper, every parent of a 6 to 9 year old should buy one.
