I don't usually write reviews, but this thing is great. I had a half shaft on a 2001 Dakota that was stuck like you wouldn't believe. It laughed at the 5lb slide hammer and 7' bar. This tool was too big to fit behind the half shaft, but that's not its fault. I cut the forks off with a grinder and took out about 5/8" and welded them back on. The opening between the forks was about 1-3/8" after. That got it moving. I did have to use a fan wrench as a spacer to get it to pop all the way off. It comes with the other fork to space it out, but it was much too thick. So if you're working on a Dakota, you may want to see if you can find a narrower one. But the concept is sound and the tool is well built.

Work well removing half shafts. Used them several times with out bend or breaking.

This thing did it for me, I had a Honda b series axle stuck in my transmission I tried everything 3 pry bars so much hammering and nothing today I got this tool and in 3-4 hits axle came out like nothing! This tool is awesome! 10/10 from me

Worked perfectly on the first try. Got a stuck CV Axle and slide hammer puller did not fit. Tried vise grip several times with CV axle as slide hammer and it did not work. Also tried pry bar and it did not work. Screw around with other methods for a couple of days until I decided to get this and this got the CV axle out within 10 minutes. I can see the axle was pretty rusted after getting it out.

They bent immediately while doing a wheel bearing on my 2009 Kia Spectra. However, everything was seized together because of rust from living in WI. They probably work better down south vs being way up north where there’s less salting. Just get these for an air hammer if you live where roads get salted a lot

Changing CV axles 2014 Sienna. Carrier bearing stuck. Spent 4 hours with combination slide hammer, air hammer, heat, pry bars. During a break I found these and ordered them. It took me less then 10 min to get axle unstuck and removed. Highly recommended.

These are worth their weight in GOLD! I've broken a mount before and these made it so simple to separate. Felt very foolish for not having these in the first place. The broken mount cost me a lot of money and time. These tools split the axel just like its supposed too. Very grateful.
