Havaianas Women's Slim Flip Flop Sandals, Beats

I purchased this exact style about 4 years ago in Montego Bay airport and bought size 41/42 (43/44 EU or USA 9). I almost always wear a true size 10. This pair fit perfectly in length and width and I fell in LOVE with this shoe. So you can expect I wore them down from loving them so much! Over the past couple of years, it was almost impossible to find this style, as I was looking for another pair to replace my well-loved first pair. To my surprise, I was THRILLED to discover that amazon carried this style (and found that it was also more abundant on ebay as well, but sellers were mostly from overseas). After my research into the shoe and reading reviews about fit, etc. I still opted to go with the same size as my original ones because I only read one review that said they fit big. (plus, they are the exact same style as my originals, so how could I go wrong?). Well, I did. I was disappointed when they arrived and they were too big! I held up the new pair to my original pair and they were longer and wider! With a size 10 foot, this is not the look one typically goes for, as it just makes you look like you're wearing skis (not shoes). I guess the company decided to change the sizing of this style and make them fit bigger than before. I tried to find a smaller size on amazon (size 39/40), but there are none left now, so I'm not sure what to do with these size 41/42 now. I want them so badly, but they are a little too big, and make my foot look bigger, plus I worry that I may trip over the extra sole that is protruding out beyond my toes. Anyway, a fantastic shoe, but looking back now, the shoes DOES say it's the equivalent to a US size 11. I should have trusted that and not thought they company would do a silly thing and make them bigger. So warming kids - the size 39/40 is likely more true to a size 10 US. (I also recalled that my birkenstocks that I have been buying for years are always a size 41, but I guess different company means different sizing) Lesson learned.

I love these sandals because they feel like flip flops but stay put comfortably and are a nice, less casual look. Their 39/40 size always fits my narrow size 8.5 feet perfectly, but they might be too tight/small for the true US 9/10s. Like many flip flop type shoes, they don't last forever. In a summer or two the toe strap will pop loose from the sole or a strap will break from the back, but they're still the only summer shoes I buy for my sensitive feet regardless. I try to keep my eyes out for when they're under $15-$20 so that I'm not too grumpy when they do.

Love these! I can't wear flip flops without a strap around the ankle so these are perfect for me! Be aware you need to size up. I normally wear 8.5 US and ordered 9-10 thinking for sure they'd be too big but they were perfect!

I've been wanting this style for awhile because Havaianas are seriously the most comfortable sandals ever and I love them. I normally buy the 39/40 which is the 9/10 in the Slim, and they always fit perfectly. However, I didn't realize when I ordered that these are the "Top" fit and not the "Slim" fit. The Slim runs true to size, the Top does not and is too large. So, I am returning them and ordering a size down which should do the trick. I really wish that these were the shape and fit of the Slim as I (obviously) prefer it over the more squared toe and heel and thick strap of the Top. I think the smaller size will look much better and the back strap also won't be as loose. I think if you want to avoid the strap being loose in the back (which seems to be the consensus from those who order their normal size), order a size down. The Top's fit is always larger because it's listed in men's sizes, which is why it's odd that such a feminine style would be made with the Top fit in the first place. I've done this before with the Top vs Slim, lol. My general rule is order a size down if it's got a squared shape at the toe and heel, order my normal size if it's rounded. If you remember that it'll fix all your problems, unless of course you're like me and aren't paying attention to which is which when you order, lol. I'm giving these 4 stars not because I made a mistake and ordered the wrong size but because I vehemently believe this style should be the Slims and not Tops. Harrumph!

I love these sandals. I’m on my fifth pair in four years... They break every 6-8 months from wear -- the thong in between the big toe just breaks. This usually happens randomly, with no warning, usually when I'm gone and walking for the day... so very inconvenient especially since this is usually the only pair of non-sneakers that I bring on some trips. But I literally wear them all the time and even wear them in compromising conditions (kayaking, stepping out of the boat into mud, in wet sand, in dry sand, gravel, etc). For every pair I've worn, I've probably walked over 300 miles in them. That's how often I use them in the spring/summer. I love how the color is neutral with my skin tone so they go with every outfit. I also love that I can put them on and take them off without using my hands. These are the best -- but I do wish the thong part was more resilient...

this product is sold as "Slim" and recommended for narrow feet. Absolutely wrong. Much too wide on a narrow foot. But even worse, cannot be returned to a domestic address. Must be returned to Slovakia -- AND the customer pays for the shipping. Amazon will reimburse up to $20 but the cheapest shipping was $52 !!! All this is for a $47 pair of flip flops. I read the description and there is nothing there that says returns have to be sent back to Slovakia. VERY VERY UPSET

These run incredibly small and tight. I’m a true size 5.5 and the 5/6 my toes touched the edge and they were so tight they were painful. I have small thin feet. I also did not realize they’d be shipping from Amazon Germany and now I have to pay the shipping return and box them, it says I might be reimbursed up to $20 for shipping, we will see what it costs at USPS to ship them all the way back to Germany. Very unclear when ordering these and quite mad.

I Love the Havaianas brand for flip flops. Very high quality. These are extremely comfortable and wearable because they have a back strap that wraps around your heel. They are extremely secure. I never “walk out” of them and they never slip off. I recently wore them while on a trip to Las Vegas. I walked in these for miles with complete comfort. Very highly recommend these Flip Flop sandals. You won’t be disappointed.

These sandals are great - they're exactly what I needed, look quite nice (for flipflops) and are pretty comfortable. I ordered size 37/38, my feet are 24,5cm long and I normally take a size 5.5 or around an EU 39. The Haviannas size JUST fit - my toes aren't handing over the edges, but they certainly fill every inch of the sandal, but then I do have somewhat long toes. Just something to keep in mind if you decide to purchase youself.

Es el segundo par que me compro igual. Me gustan mucho porque son muy cómodas y como van sujetas al tobillo puedes andar rápido sin que se salgan. Las primeras me duraron unos cuatro veranos, usándolas muuucho.

Comfortable, heel strap keeps them on well but a size 39/40 was slightly too big as I'm a 39, good colour & style though
