In the product description it says that it is not waterproof

The size/length from end to end is 9 inches. It’s 1/2 inch in height I guess you would call it! It’s my favorite watch so far!!

How do you adjust the size of the band?

I used the tool found in an eyeglass kit for screwing back on the arm of your glasses. Unclasp the watch band, look for a teeny tiny arrow. The arrow points to the area you need to lift with the tool. Then slide to adjust.
