We just started playing ping pong, so really not qualified to know the difference between good or great ping pong balls. These seem really good and we’re happy with them.

Initially, we thought that having 60 ping-pong balls would be overkill. What we’ve found out, though, is that it just keeps the fun going! My son and I load up our pockets with ping-pong balls, and rather than having to chase a precious one or two all over, we just serve up another one. Then we have a huge gather up session after several volleys.We took a flyer on these because the price was right. We had previously been playing with Joola balls. While the sound is a little bit duller and heavier, the action is pretty much the same. Interestingly, these balls have a matted, almost eggshell-like texture (which you can kind of see in the picture). We initially thought that would lead to greater spin ability, but we have not noticed much of a difference.We are not table tennis professionals or even club-level players, so these balls work great for us. I would be interested to see if someone who plays at a truly high level would find the eggshell texture to be distracting or change the balls playability. (If you’ve noticed that, please comment, as I would love to hear.) Otherwise, we found these balls to be a great value.

Nothing I disliked

I bought these balls to add to my robot, thinking they might be good enough as training balls. To my surprise they were not good enough for training only, they are great as regular 3-star playing balls.My level of play is around 2100 US rating. Around this level and above, we only use 3-star balls. When I received the balls, I was impressed by its roundness (no wobbling) and its lack of soft spots. I decided to bring a few with me to the club and have the other guys assess it. Everyone agreed it is a good ball and only one person thought it was a bit heavy.I will buy these balls again and again as long as they keep the price close to the current price and I will gladly use them for regular play.

As I do not use them to play ping pong, I can't speak to how well they work for that. But they look and feel like standard 3 star ping pong balls. They work great for my needs, as floats for boat keychains.

They are high-quality ping pong balls but they bounce WAY too much and too high. It's like I'm playing with new tennis balls outta the can. I will keep them since the price was really affordable but I don't like that they're so bouncy...

you can deform them with your bare fingers, meaning they are not really 3 star balls. However, they are also not 1 star. Somewhere in between. Bounce is OK and all the balls seem in good shape.
