Aradani Studios elf ears are considered by many as the best costume prosthetics in the world. These are hand crafted in our home studio in Nashville, TN, by the artists of Aradani, with attention to detail and quality. Not only do we hand-make and inspect each set of ears, we try to use the highest quality materials we can find. Often on the road we are told our ears last for years of use, with some people coming back with the same ears after 6-7 years of wearing them! PAINTING YOUR EARS The primary photo shows the ears painted in a light skintone, however all Aradani Elf Ears sold on are unpainted latex, which as a natural product can vary in color. While this natural color is close to a fair skintone, the ears will look much better and realistic if they are painted to match your skin. The best make-up to use is called RMG, rubber mask grease paint. Just be careful NOT to use any make-up that contains mineral oil. GLUING ON YOUR EARS We recommend using spirit gum (sold separately) to attach your ears. The ears will not stay on without an adhesive such as spirit gum or liquid latex. HIDING THE SEAMS The edge seams can be blended in with latex, though we recommend covering the seam with the use of an ear cuff as shown in the picture. ONE SIZE FITS MOST Because our ears are made from molds, they may not be a perfect fit for you. We like to say that our ears are one-size-fits-most. Some styles fit smaller ears better, some fit larger ears better. If you need assistance, please contact us and we can offer advice on what style of ear to best fit your ears, which style to best match a certain cosplay, or any advice on make-up and special effects in general. Remember: Spirit Gum Sold Separately. Ears are unpainted.

Well worth the price!
Initially, I had been on the fence about ordering these ears as I was feeling cautious about spending the money to purchase these prosthetics. However, I'm so glad I did! They were perfect for my character in LARP (Live Action Role Play for those who don't know). I got many compliments and I myself felt amazing wearing them, which of course is the most important thing about any costume piece.I was very worried when I arrived at the camp site, it was incredibly windy and cold. I wasn't sure how the Spirit Gum and ears would hold through the whipping winds and raging battle ahead. But I was blown away. And my ears... weren't.They held up great though the battles and the celebrations to follow. Of course, this is a testament to the adhesive but also the fact that these Faun Ears sort of hug your own. There are also tabs that come down just behind the sideburn area which make it easier to get a flush surface where latex can meet glue and can meet skin.My only complaints are as follows:My ears are on the small side, meaning that for me- the Faun ears were on the large side, so I had to use some "ear cuffs" to clip the lobe of the prosthetic to the lobe of my actually ear. Which didn't bother me honestly. It added to the look and gave my character earrings, so I can't complain.Additionally, one of my ears is ever so slightly crooked due to how they were placed in the packaging. I don't mind. It's not noticeable to others. Only to me.All and all, if you're on the fence about getting this product, just get them. You won't regret it and just as it completed my look, I'm sure it'll do the same for yours!Enjoy!!

Over priced for what you get, but they are the only "fawn" ears I found.
I really needed these ears to perfect my fawn costume.I battled with myself on whether or not I should buy them because the price was SO high.I shopped around and these were literally the only ones I found.I gave in and bought them, but as expected I still feel like they are way over priced for what you get.The outer skin of the ears is quite rough and has imperfections throughout. Not to mention that for false ears this long they are extremely thin and flimsy making them easily fold over or flop if pressure is applied from a wig, hand, prop, sudden movement, etc.If you really need these ears then yes, the shape is good. But I really wish the price was much lower.

Perfect, realistic, light and foolproof
Love these ears! They come unpainted, but have a wonderful, invisible slightly pebbly texture that helps them take makeup beautifully. I was planning to airbrush them, but I didn't need to. I just applied my foundation, bronzer, some highlights and a little pink blush inside and they look like I grew them myself. They are super light and thin, and they pretty much want to stay on. Two dots of spirit gum per ear and you'll forget you're wearing them. I don't even bother to blend them and just put my hair over the edge. I've used a cheaper prosthetic made of thick, clunky, shiny latex, so I was so relieved when I saw the lightness of these. They fit my ears perfectly. I'm a woman (obviously not Justin Winzey. His gf!), very tall, but I don't have very large ears, so I'm not sure about the fit issues some people have had. I bought a pair for my friend, and plan to buy some elf and fairy ears for the future.

Great product! Must have adhesive!!!
I quite liked them. I have small ears so the only way they would stay on is with spirit gum or eyelash glue. I thought they would be bigger but it didn’t bother me. It arrived in 7 days which was a lot quicker then I expected. The texture is very soft and a bit powdered so the latex isn’t sticky. Makeup works great on it.

Fantastic quality for a Realistic look
Great addition to my halloween costume and to my renaissance fair costume! Great quality and prompt shipping. After an application of makeup to match my skin, they are very realistic looking!

Excellent quality and unique style, but odd texture
The ears look great, and I am quite pleased with my purchase! These ears have a very unique style, and could be used to portray a variety of fantastical creature costumes -- elf, satyr, faun, goblin, and likely others. However, it is worth noting that the ears have a slight texture. This texture is primarily only noticeable to touch, in fact, and might increase their ability to hold makeup if you plan to use it. (The ears are "skin-toned," but you should expect to repaint or apply makeup if you want a perfect match.)This is a minor detail for me, and it's possible you will run into similar scenarios with other products. Overall, a great buy!

Amazing fit
I really love these ears, I bought them for Gamzee Makara from homestuck. (My headcannon has goat ears) This slip right on, the only problem I had was that since I have stretched lobes, I had to wear plugs that are flush with my ear. I would recommend these for anyone.

These are really great! you do need spirit gum to keep them ...
These are really great! you do need spirit gum to keep them on though, so if you do buy them dont skip out on the spirit gum its worth it. They came exactly like the picture. You will need to add make up to them if you want them to match your skin tone though. They come in a very pale color. lucky for me, it almost matched perfect. Its a great buy.
