The Original Aramaic New Testament in Plain English with Psalms & Proverbs (8th edition without notes)

The print is tiny. so I am using a magnifier to read it, but the text is fascinating.

Unlike the KJB which ends up being a joke. Facts are facts.

Great reading of the Aramaic New Testament as it is the original language Yeshua (Jesus) spoke in his day and it is well printed.

This is an awesome book. I just wish the publisher offered a paperback version with notes. This is a paperback so I can take it more places than the hardback (I bought both) but the hardback's notes really give a great dimension to the texts. But, for just reading the Lord's word this is a great book and the translation really changes some major things. For instance, there is a quote of Jesus that in the greek to English translation says "Do not resist an evil person" but this translation says "Do not rise up against an evil person." Those are very different messages. I teach martial arts and to me "resisting" is same as "self defense" whereas "rising up against" is like you are on the train or something and a crazy possessed dude is screaming at the wall so Jesus says to stand down, and not to go get in his face and confront him, to me that would be "rising up." But to me this clarified that Jesus is not saying to sacrifice yourself by being non-resistant but He is just saying don't rise up against them. Good call, I can get on board with that!

This Bible is truly a treasure trove, great for both study and worship, research and liturgy. This Bible version renders the Divine Name as Lord Jehovah 239 times in the New Testament not to mention the Psalms and Proverbs. I really feel that Rev. David Bauscher, the translator of this work should make this into a full bible. It's beautifully translated and very well made. This is the #1 New Testament in the English language that uses the divine name, Lord Jehovah.

Print could be larger for us older people. Otherwise a precise rightful wording. And yes, Y'shua spoke Aramaic.

It pains me to use that harsh word "garbage" with anything concerning the precious word of YHWH but I have to speak the truth. There's hardly any Aramaic in the whole book. Based on the description, I thought the book had some interlinear concepts somehow involved. Nope! The book is also still littered with the pagan satanic names such as Jehovah, Jesus, Lord, etc. And it spells the saviors name Yahshua as Yeshua. (taking out Yah, further mudding down the truth.) I wish didn't have to waist my money on a purchase just to find that out. How can you claim this is an original Aramaic script when theirs nothing even close to Aramaic in the whole book? I will try and read and see if the text is written with at least an Aramaic culture perspective or viewpoint, but it's difficult getting past all those satanic name translations. Oh well. I hope YHWH opens your hearts up to revealing truth before times up. Yah baruk.

I was excited to read the Word. Turned out to be an expensive, poor English translation. I was eager to read but I am not so sure now that it is a Spirit lead translation.

I bought for my son. He says it is very interesting and clearly written by an enthusiast. He strongly recommends it.
