Our washing machine has had this moldy mildew smell for awhile, and even after taking it apart and cleaning every inch of mold, dirt, etc. out of it, that I could find, the darn thing still smelled! I started using more detergent, more fabric softener, and even started buying those extra boosting liquids and fabric softener pods/beads to make the smell go away in our clothes. I was cleaning the washing machine every week with this concoction of Tide, Arm & Hammer, and Borax, which works great to get anything out of clothes, but all it was doing was pulling little pieces of mold out of the washing machine. Then I found this stuff and I read all of the reviews. I thought there’s no way this stuff can get rid of that smell, but it’s worth a try. I’M SO GLAD I TRIED because IT WORKED!!!! I followed the instructions and I used half the bottle, but I plan on buying more, so if one bottle cleans it two times, I’m okay with that. Anything is better than having your clothes smell like mold! It was so easy to use, no damage to our clothes afterwards, and as long as you keep it with your laundry stuff, you shouldn’t mistake it for medicine like someone else said they did. I was so relieved to grab a clean towel and actually smell my laundry detergent and fabric softener instead of mold. I’ve been telling everyone about it, AND I’m excited to try their other cleaners for the dishwasher and jetted tubs. I wish I had found this stuff a long time ago! Thank you to whoever made this product!!!!

Oh Yuk easily cleans my washing machine and makes it smell better. My clothes smell better, too! I love the effectiveness of this brand!

I am really impressed with the oh yuk! Washing machine cleaner. First you just have to let it sit in the washing machine with a gallon of hot water for an hour before you run a cycle. Making it very easy to use. It smells good. Directions are simple. I believe it’s well price especially since the product works better than anything I’ve ever purchased to clean my washing machine before. No mold or mildew smells. I will definitely be buying more of this. Works for extremely well.

I just used this for the first time yesterday (despite ordering the end of January), as I rarely have a time when my dishwasher isn't cleaning dishes, and you need to use it in an empty machine. I do a lot of cooking, so my dishwasher sees a lot of use. I do, however, frequently clean the trap in the machine, so there was no large stuff - food, hairs (we have a dog) and yuck - in there. But I saw where there was grimy buildup in the corners and on the edges/rims of the door. So I tried this, following the directions on the bottle for use. It certainly did help get those grimy spots in the corners clean, as you splash it on there first and wait for a bit to let it do it's work. I used a silicone sponge to get those spots cleaned up, running it up and down the door/seals for a good fit. That seemed to work great. What I didn't like was the 2 oz you are supposed to use before you let the dishwasher run for a long cycle. Even after I did that, I opened the door and there were still several spots that were dirty. Next time, I will try using half the bottle, since the 2 oz. I used (as per bottle instructions) didn't seem like it was enough, but I do have a very big stainless steel dishwasher. So I'm not totally off the product yet. It did half the job for sure. But was the DW spotless when I opened the door after a really long cycle? No. I'll check out other reviews now and see what other people did to make it work better. That's it for now! Still experimenting to get optimum value from the product...

Have a brand new dishwasher that I used a budget detergent with. Caused white scum and film all over the Stainless surfaces. Tried this stuff after running it dishwasher came put spotless. I highly recommend this product.

I tried the Oh Yuk dishwasher cleaner hoping for a long lasting fix to the odors in my machine. The first cleaning made a noticeable difference and the dishwasher smelled fresh and looked cleaner inside. Unfortunately, the results only lasted about two weeks before the same smell started to come back. The product does clean out grease and buildup, but I was hoping for a longer period of freshness based on the description. It is not a bad cleaner, just not as long lasting as I expected. Three stars only, mostly because we still have a stench after 2 bottles of this.

I absolutely love this stuff. I have tried so many dishwasher cleaners for my mini dishwasher and nothing has ever gotten it clean and always left a residue. I used half of the recommended amount because my dishwasher is a counter top one. it got all the residue off! I’ve seen so many good things about this product with bathtubs and I was so happy to see that they had one for a dishwasher! Very effective they give you a great amount for multiple uses easy to use and doesn’t leave her residue so no stickiness! I will definitely be buying this product for the rest of my life as long as they are in business!

This worked well for my washing machine to smell good it wasn’t good to remove any mould on pre-existing machines, but it did remove the smell
