Very good for small holes or cracks.
Very good product but sadly the repair didn't last as the hole was to big.

Great product
Great product easy to work with. Follow safety instructions. I keep paying delivery hundreds I've spent yet I already have prime at my address in my wife's name. Very annoying

It's fine but not a serious fix.
Not great for anything but a straight hole cover. Also a messy a job to fit.

Happily surprised!!
Ok. Well, I didn't expect a great deal for an exhaust bandage to be honest, but I'll happily eat my words at the moment. Had a rather hefty leak near a gasket joint, just after the cat, so a matter of a few foot away from the turbo. Instructions were very simple, and once you've managed to coat the bandage in goo (all in a package, so you don't get coated.. yet) The wrap comes out slathered in a white paste, and its easy enough to place and maneuver, but its a bugger to keep in place.. The aluminium foil strip, I found, was useless, and I ended up using zip ties whilst the resin hardened. I decided to let the resin harden for a few hours instead of running the car. But I do have to say.. wow... this stuff is rock solid and patched a hole for a while. Don't usually recommend things like exhaust repair bandages, but good lord.. if you need a temporary repair thats going to last.. get this.

Does not "harden like steel" like advertised. I followed the instructions to the letter.
The instructions say that once cured, ExhaustWeld "hardens like steel". This did not happen for me, despite "neading" the bandage in the bag and leaving the repair for 24 hours to cure (in warm weather). A few days later, I was able to peel the bandage off with very little force. The resin made the bandage a bit crusty but definitely not hard like steel. It was still pretty soft like a bandage. This is over 3 times the price of the GunGum exhaust bandage on Amazon, so I was expecting good results. I think this product would successfully patch up holes, but does not add much strength to the repair. Not enough to make me feel confident about driving the car long distances with this kind of repair!

better than paste or filler
I tried the paste before this and it just cracked, this has stayed in one piece. It works great. Not much to say really. It cures on its own in a couple of hours or you can start the car and cure it quicker with the heat. I let mine sit overnight rather than rush it. Maybe that helps.

Incredible heat resistance—saved my exhaust pipe!
This kit is a lifesaver for DIY exhaust repairs. I used it to seal a small leak on my tailpipe, and the results have been fantastic. The high-temperature fiberglass wrap is easy to apply—you just dip it in water and wrap it tightly around the damaged area. Once it cures with the heat of the engine, it hardens into a rock-solid, permanent cast that can withstand temperatures up to 1100°F. It completely stopped the loud exhaust noise and prevented further leaking. It’s a much more affordable and effective alternative to replacing the entire pipe. Highly recommended for any quick and durable exhaust fix!

I trust JB Weld
My wife's car got a crack in the exhaust pipe which also has the front catalytic converter. I did not want to replace it just now, but I also did not want to the pipe to drop if the crack spread. This product wraps around the pipe and will provide supports to about six inches of the pipe. It cures well and seems extremely strong. It is easy to install, just wrap it around. It is good and sticky, has enough length for a few wraps of the pipe, and is certainly a cost effective temporary repair compared to running into the muffler shop. I've had this on her car for a couple of weeks and there is no leakage.
