Ordered this through Amazon Resale (previously Warehouse). It was described as like new in original packaging. Well, it came in its original package, both open and crushed, and was clearly used, if lightly, with clear indents on both faces. Not enough to bother returning, but not as described, either. I dropped from 5 to 4 stars entirely on this basis. The hammer itself is stellar. Balanced, decent size faces for the weight, and very tough handle. Good value, too, even at full price.

Sturdy hammer, brass is soft enough, but not too soft.

Solid hammer and smaller than picture makes you think. Should have paid more attention to weight in description however no complaints. Excellent size for many things and built well.
