Durability and Warmth for Young Explorers: Arctix Kids Snow Pants Review
As a parent gearing up for the winter season, I recently purchased the Arctix Kids Snow Pants with Reinforced Knees for my child, and I am extremely pleased with the quality and durability of these snow pants. Designed to withstand the rigors of outdoor winter activities, these pants provide excellent protection and warmth for children exploring snowy adventures. The reinforced knees on the Arctix Kids Snow Pants are a standout feature, offering extra durability and protection in high-wear areas where kids often kneel or sit in the snow. This added reinforcement ensures that the pants hold up well to rough play and extended use, making them a practical choice for active youngsters.I appreciate the adjustable waist and boot gaiters with grippers, which allow for a customized fit and help to keep snow and cold air out, keeping my child comfortable and warm during outdoor play. The pants also feature convenient pockets for storing essentials like gloves or small toys, adding to their functionality. One of the key benefits of these snow pants is their water and wind-resistant construction, which keeps my child dry and protected from the elements. The thermalock insulation provides excellent warmth without adding bulk, allowing my child to move freely and comfortably while staying cozy in cold weather.Overall, the Arctix Kids Snow Pants with Reinforced Knees have exceeded my expectations in terms of quality, functionality, and performance. I highly recommend these snow pants to parents looking for durable, warm, and well-designed outerwear for their children during the winter months.

They are great!
Good, sturdy snowpants! My daughter is hard on clothes, and she’s been sledding nonstop in our Ohio snow this month. She sometimes slides down without a sled, and the snow pants have held up to whatever she throws at them. They keep her warm and they seem to dry very quickly. They were a little big around the waist, but they do have belt loops so we cinched them up with a belt.

Seem to be good quality and well made
Giving 4 stars only because we haven’t hit the slopes yet so not the pants fault that we truly haven’t tested them. Bought these for my 16 yr old daughter for our upcoming ski trip. Fight her great but not over sized at all. If you want plenty of room I recommend jumping up a size. Height is 5’1” waist is 26 inches and hips 34 and bought a large in red. She can squat and move but she is also used to the jegging type jeans that stretch and fit tighter. Large is not quite as tight as jegging jeans as she can move squat, bend over and touch her toes with no problems. If you don’t like snug fitting bottoms jump up a size. We also purchased the xl as a second pair in lime green ( to compare sizes being a mom) and she has plentyyyyy of room in them. Thank goodness for belt loops and Velcro straps. She has to pull the Velcro waist straps as far in as she can on xl and still has some room. Plenty long on both pair. Large will be perfect with snow boots. Xl is a bit longer and drag a bit more but not to much to return as they will be fine once the snow boots are on. Seems to be great quality and she is not worried at all about getting cold as they seem to be well lined and warm. The extra padding on the rear end and knees are going to be a big plus, I think, once she hits the slopes and falls and scrawl for her skis.. lol. Excited to test them out on the slopes. Hope this helps.

Fits well, good value
This is my second year with these pants and I just ordered the next size up for next year. I purchased size XS for my 7-year old son last year, and they fit perfectly. This year he was able to wear them again although they were a bit tight in the waist and the rise was a bit short. He is currently 51" tall and 65 lbs (XS barely fit, small fits better but is a tad long). Thankfully the elastic waist straps gave him a little extra room. He wears an 8 in Carters, Small in Nike and under Armour. These stood up to sledding for about 3 hours which included sitting on a sled covered in water. He has also worn them to ski lessons (lots of falling and he stayed dry). The Columbia pants are more flexible but these perform and fit just as well for a much lower price. We usually get 2 days of snow/ice in the PNW so this price point is reasonable for minimal use. I purchased the adult version and even though they are a bit bulky and stiff, they fit and perform well.

Really nice
I ordered two pair for my son, one slightly big for this year (and hopefully next) and another pair in a size up. My son is typically in an 8. He is short and skinny. I got the 10/12 for this season. They are a little big but just enough I feel we can get two years. They aren’t bulky but are roomy. He pulled them on over a pair of khaki uniform type shorts with ease. The pants are reinforced and seem really sturdy. We rarely get snow where we live but do get unpleasant temps in winter. These are perfect for a wild child who loves to play outside. I will be ordering a pair (or two) in the men’s sizing for my older son.

Built-in adjustable velcro belt
My son is tall and skinny. I was worried about the sizing being long enough and staying up without him having to wear a belt all day. And these are perfect because they have a built-in adjustable velcro belt. The material is heavy duty, stitching is heavy duty. Well worth the money.

Good product, long wait
The item itself is good. I ordered one size on husky and it was still a big snug on my daughter. I returned them and ordered the next size up, but they didn’t arrive for a whole month later. We still need them because of the snow but it was limbo waiting so long. I’m thankful there’s husky sizes for kids, this is one of the few brands that has it.
