~ This Movie is a Classic, Silly and Funny, Like Spending a Couple Hours with an Old Friend ~
We own the DVD of this, but recently ordered the digital version as well, so we could have a Wayne's World movie party with the movie going in two rooms, since we don't have a huge area to fit everyone who wanted to join us. We watched it on it's 25th birthday, after which we served up some donuts, listened to "Stairway to Heaven," and sang "Bohemian Rhapsody" together. This movie is a classic. It's a silly movie, but wonderfully funny and enjoyable, like spending a couple hours with an old friend. It never fails to "take us away" from the stresses of everyday life and crack us up and it's one that all of our movie party friends love. Wayne's World... Party on!

30 years later, Wayne's World is somewhat of a classic
A lot funnier than I remembered it to be. Wayne's World is both a parody and a biopic about a lost era.Douche bags in sweaters are shown trying to crush the little guy. Wayne and Garth struggle with the overwhelming temptation and fear of selling out, while openly breaking the 4th wall and making fun of themselves. This movie is revolutionary in that it captures the kind of music that the modern era pines over, while being fair to show the pitfalls of "making it" as well. What started as a SNL skit, became a regurgitation of catch phrases and dated jokes. But somehow, in the act of selling out, both comedians Mike Myers and Dana Carvey pull off an original movie with fresh feelings, good vibes, and enough bad jokes which continue to be entertaining three decades later.I also would like to add that Cassandra is a total babe and she can really wail. Schwing!

Still irreverent and fun
Wayne’s World was one of the few Saturday Night Live skits to become a successful film. The spirit of the movie was captured in the second scene as Mike Myers, Dana Carvey and crew sing along to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody in their car. It was irreverent and fun. Myers was also talking into the camera directly at the audience years before Deadpool did it. The film contains some great spoofs like one segment they have on product placement in movies. All together that makes Wayne’s World entertaining to this day.

Can't wait to corrupt the grandkids with it soon.

Party on wayne, party on Garth
The only SNL movie to past the 100 million mark in the Box office. It was released at the perfect time to be a hit. Hair metal was at the tail end of its reign and Wayne's World was there to finish it off. It made Bohemian Rhapsody a bigger hit its second time around and had us teenagers head banging to it. It's one of those movies that was released in my senior year and i will always cherish this movie.

We should all be lucky enough to live in Wayne's World
How can you not love a movie that features two suburban slackers who produce a late night cable t.v. show from a basement? How can you not love a movie that features not only a Pacer with flame decals and "Bohemian Rhapsody?" How can you not love a movie that features a karate-kicking singer, Stan Mikita's donut shop and Donna Dixon in what might well be the world's greatest non-speaking cameo role? The fact is, you've got to love this movie that made Mike Meyers a semi-legend, revitalized Rob Lowe's career, and shows you a whole different side of horror-rocker Alice Cooper. It's fun, it's irreverent in true SNL style and if it doesn't make you laugh out loud more than a dozen times then check your pulse, you might be dead.

If the price is as low as it was, it's worth it.
Fantastic job remastering this movie, if there are a few low quality Parts I can't remember at this time. Otherwise this was a major addition to our collection, my only regret is not being able to find a reasonably priced two pack of Wayne's World 1 and 2.

Party time
Wayne's World is one of those films that stands out from the competition as it is just so different from what the others offer you. The film has great casting and a storyline that works and is delivered beautifully. This is a film that I always have to have on my shelf as it is one I take a fancy for and so it gets watched every so often and each time I love watching it.

Excellent
Classic excellent film! I’m a queen fan so my draw was always the Bohemian Rhapsody scene but this has become a movie of my life - love it! Watch it and laugh

Still funny
Bought this for myself to watch on my birthday. Very basic packaging with no accompanying booklet, but a nice retro cover (the original film poster I think) Great quality DVD with some fun extras such as the usually commentaries and some interesting cast and crew interviews including Rob Lowe, Mike Myers and Penelope Spheeris. This isn't the product in the picture as it doesn't have the big ugly price sticker on the case, which I was pleased about.

i remember watching this as a teenager back in 92 and thinking it was soooo funny. haven't watched it for many years now but decided to get it as one of my 14 year old son's birthday presents. he laughed all the way through it, seems its still a great teen film (although i have to admit i still found it amusing too)
