Works great for firestick
It came a day late, but worked perfectly. Had a spare firestick and an old spare TV with no way to connect the two. I had read a lot of reviews of other brands saying they only worked on HDTVs and I would have to buy one costing $40 to get it to work on a regular TV. For $40, I was just going to buy a cheap flat screen with HDMI and forget the adapter. I took a chance with this one and, once I set the audio to auto instead of through HDMI on the firestick, it worked perfectly.

Little lifesaver box!
This little box was a lifesaver to us as we had tried several other ways to hook up our blu-ray to our old TV which doesn't support hdmi. Just be sure to use the usb cord included!! It won't work without it! Very easy to install and the picture and sound are great!

Didn't work and got dangerously hot just powering a Fire Stick.
Did not work, left picture grainy if it booted up at all. My FireStick kept rebooting, so this clearly didn't have the power to run it. It eventually got so hot it burned my fingers. Sent it back and ordered from Newegg.

Crashes from time to time. Turns itself off then ...
Crashes from time to time. Turns itself off then needs to be 'rebooted' by pulling out the power cord. Weird. Slow to change resolutions.

Does not show quality movies when switched to HDMI.
Does not work well at all to switch older model televisions to HDMI.

Every 5-7 minutes it says "no signal" definitely not a way to watch a movie.
