Best tinted spf for rosacea type 2.
I have rosacea type 2 skin and I've purchased this Cetaphil Redness Relieving moisturizer with spf three times. This is my third purchase. I use it daily in the morning .I've tried and wanted to try other sunscreens, but I keep coming back to this one because it has never caused flare-ups or acne in my skin. This product is really non comedogenic. I won't say it has reduced redness, but it does provide coverage, which is a big plus for rosacea-prone skin. The texture is light and creamy and spreads easily and adjusts to the skin tone. It does not cause burning or stinging. It sits well under makeup and gives natural glow. I would recommend this sunscreen for people with rosacea type 2.

good for rosacea!
I’ve been using this moisturizer daily, especially on workdays when I want something light and fuss-free without breaking the bank on expensive makeup. It’s perfect for my rosacea-prone skin because it’s gentle and actually helps calm redness instead of irritating it. The neutral tint is subtle but effective it evens out my skin tone just enough to reduce visible redness without feeling cakey or heavy like foundation. The broad-spectrum SPF 40 gives me great sun protection, which is essential for sensitive, redness-prone skin like mine. I love how it feels hydrating but not greasy, making it ideal for everyday use, especially under makeup or on its own for a natural look. Overall, it’s a fantastic budget-friendly option for rosacea sufferers who want light coverage and sun protection without the hassle of full makeup

smooth, great coverage, doesn't pill under makeup, but stains clothes
I have mixed feeling about this sunscreen. What I really liked: I have very fair, thin, Rosacea-prone skin with fine lines (I'm naturally blonde with very fair skin in my 50's). This has some slight color to it, so not only smoothed out all the imperfections and redness and I could wear it on it's own, but also worked great as a primer under my Clinique Redness Solutions foundation, and didn't pill. My skin looked really smooth and great with this on, and it stayed on all day and looked really great on, both by itself and under makeup. I also had this on all day in the Hawaiian sun on vacation and didn't burn, so the SPF 40 really works (as often others don't work.) I have tried almost every other prestige facial sunscreen on the market, and this was by far my favorite for appearance and feel. 2 thinks I didn't like: 1)the pump has to be right side up to work, but has a pointy bottom. I had to keep it propped up between other bottles on the counter so it would work when I needed to, as it didn't come out smoothly when the tube was laying side ways on the counter. The other thing I didn't like is it stains clothes, so you have to be really careful. This is what it looks like on my white jeans where I accidentally spilled it and couldn't get it out. Overall, I would buy it again because it works so well and looked so great on, but would probably only wear in on beach days when I don't have a lot of clothes on to chance getting the sunscreen on. Because it stains clothes, I wouldn't wear it as a daily regular sunscreen.

Slight redness reduction. The pump is great to keep from being excessive with the product
I wouldn't say this is a miracle at getting rid of redness, but the tint does seem effective in reducing the redness on my face. The texture is sort of strange - closer to a foundation than to lotion. Be careful what you touch after applying (wash your hands). I was concerned this was going to drip and stain a white shirt I was wearing when I ended up sweating, but it seems that after it is dry on your face, the color doesn't come off like makeup can. Which is great. When this is on, you feel it if you touch your face at all for like 8 hours after. That said, wearing it daily has improved the overall/ongoing moisture of my face. I really appreciate that it has a little pump. One pump seems like a tiny amount, but it may be all that you need.

Undercooked toast shouldn't use this
I give it 3 stars as a neutral review rather than a good/bad. I have tried other options for rosacea that left my face dry and oily (menopause, right?!?!) or I break out (sensitive skin, iykyk). I bought this with the redness face wash and redness night creme. I want to like all 3 products, but I cannot bring myself to like the day creme. This is a decent product and I do like the face wash and nighttime creme and my face feels clean and calmer. Unfortunately this is a no for me. The cons are not bad but definitely take them into consideration before purchasing. Pros: (1) No overwhelming smell. (2) It dispenses like liquid cover up which helps ensure you don't put too much on. That might be a con though, if the pump action isn't your thing. Cons: (1) The "neutral" tint, as many others have pointed out. You'll have to wash your hands after you apply (well, unless you use a sponge). (2) The tint is more orange thank pink and does not match my skin coloring. I don't wear makeup so I'd have to invest in products to help me apply it without further agitating my skin. The tint might work for you, but know if you are darker than undercooked toast, it will be obvious (unless you know what you're doing, which I do not). (3) It makes my face feel dry (not in a bad way, just not oily or greasy), which is fine across my nose but it highlights my terribly dry forehead. (4) If I scratch my face, I end up with orange under my nails and wonder what I have touched. I wash it off every night to avoid leaving a face print, which I guess I should be doing anyway. (5) It is not easy to apply. I understand it has zinc oxide, which can be more difficult to apply. However, when you have sensitive skin, rubbing it (you can't just "apply liberally") into an already agitated area doesn't help. (6) Apply every 2 hours??? With that "neutral" tint and no mirror? I need an option I can toss in my bag and use quickly and easily while on the go. This is not my ideal, but it may be yours.

Fantastic for Sensitive Skin
While I haven't been properly diagnosed, I suspect that I do have rosacea on my cheek areas given that they're always red, and if I use any type of product with fragrance, it burns (yay for sensitive skin!!). I decided to try this product because of the redness relieving properties. It's frustrating having to wear full-coverage foundation (and color corrector if I feel so inclined) just to cover up the discoloration, so I figured a product like this might actually help. And it does!! I'm really impressed with how this applies. While I'm generally not into products that have a tint to them (as it usually means that many different skin tones are excluded from using it) I find that it blends seamlessly into my skin, and it doesn't actually apply like a BB cream - meaning, I don't notice that it adds any color to my face despite this product having a tint to it. Then again, that may just be me. The product is super lightweight. I only need one pump to cover my entire face, and instantly, I can tell that the redness is calmed after application. I've noticed how much it helps me with applying my foundation because I don't have to use as much, or I can use something significantly more lightweight and not have to worry about redness showing through. One downside I will say about this product (which isn't necessarily a downside, but something to be cautious of), is if you have dry skin, this will NOT be enough of a moisturizer on its own. I do my best to make sure my skin is fully moisturized at night so that when I wake up in the morning to use this product, I don't need to apply any other moisturizer, but there are times when I can tell my skin just needs something more. So what I do is apply another fragrance-free moisturizer in the morning (I like the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream; it comes in a huge tub), let that sink in first and then I'll apply this product - it still works wonders, and I get the moisture I need. I also go on top of it with the Eucerin Daily Protection Face Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 30 for added SPF protection as I feel that the 20 from this product isn't enough. If you have oily skin, I'm sure you could get away with using this product on its own as a moisturizer, but with dry skin, I do think you'll need something else to go along with it (which I knew going into it. I've had dry skin my whole life, so I just know that lightweight moisturizers will never be enough regardless). This will definitely be a product I repurchase. I'm so glad I found it, and I really do think it's a product worth checking out.

Horrible product
This stuff is highly tinted. It requires makeup over the top of it or my skin looks weird. I couldn't even get a fully normal look after makeup, though, due to how strong the color is and because the lotion dried out my face instead of moisturizing it. It does not go on smoothly - it is like trying to spread molasses. It stains everything and is hard to get off your hands. I can't tell whether it does anything for the redness because I will not use it again. It is awful. Clinique's redness lotion (not the tinted base) and Thank Me Later's color correcting primer don't have SPF and are more expensive, but it is a way better option for reducing redness as well as moisturizing without being a pain to apply.

Makes a HUGE difference
This is going to be very similar to a review I left for the night version of this product, I've started using both and have about the same reaction to both lol. I have combination skin, with dry skin on my nose, cheekbones, and center of my forehead and oily skin pretty much everywhere else. I cannot BELIEVE the difference this makes with my face. I've tried so many different moisturizers, but I never tried a non-comedogenic one before (mostly because I had never heard of it). I finished off my current bottle of moisturizer, which I didn't love. and started looking for a new brand to try and saw this one. I do not have nearly the issue with clogging pores like I did with every other moisturizer I've ever used. I go throughout the whole day without looking in a mirror and finding a new whitehead that's popped up somewhere on my face or see my nose flaky with dry skin. I've never used a non-comedogenic moisturizer before, so maybe they're all this awesome, but this is a huge change for me so I'm gushing. I use this one in the morning and the night version before bed after washing my face with the Extra Gentle Daily Scrub (also Cetaphil). I know pores don't really change size, but the lack of clogging has made them way less noticeable. If you have trouble with blackhead or whiteheads all the time, I would definitely give this a shot. My only note is that I am fairly pale, usually using the palest color of makeup I can find. This is slightly darker than my skin, but blends in fine. Anyone paler than me, like my sister, might have a harder time not looking like they're using self-tanning spray. In the summer time this will probably match my skin perfect, but my winter skin is a little harder to match. Just something to keep in mind if you're very pale. I'm not sure how this would work for a person with very dark skin.

Sehr gut
Bin sehr zufrieden, nehme diese Creme schon sehr lange und bestelle sie immer nach. Zieht gut ein, mit leichter Tönung und lässt sich sehr gut auftragen und verteilen.

Excellent for sensitive, acne-prone skin.
This is the only sunscreen gentle enough and not super oily so as to not clog my pores, while still giving a decent tint to minimise (of course, not completely cover) some of the redness from acne spots and scars. The best part is that the ingredient list is minimal and effective. No unnecessary essential oils, extracts, fragrance, niacinamide (yes, people with sensitive and sensitized skin can react badly to niacinamide and even HA, and unfortunately they are being squeezed into every product out there now) which helps ensure that chances of irritation are reduced as well. I tried the spf20 version and loved it, and then struggled for quite a while to find a decent replacement when that became unavailable on amazon. This spf40 version is just as great, with the added benefit of a higher spf. It also contains caffeine, which reduces inflammation and serves as an antioxidant as well. The price was in an acceptable range at the time of my purchase as I forego products with unnecessary price hikes. I wish this were also available in pharmacies across the UAE too, to avoid potential dupes being sold. The tint works well on me (I have fair-medium, olive-toned skin). If your skin is very fair, dusky, or on the darker side, then do a patch test to see if you are able to blend it in or you might have to use your foundation to correct/cover over it. I have combination, sensitive, acne-prone skin, and this product works amazingly well for me. If your skin is on the drier side, then definitely use a moisturizer before going in with this. Again, patch test to see what works for you, but this is a very good product to try out!

Quite heavy like makeup.
I realised this was tinted but assumed it would still be a light cream given Cetaphil is well known for skin products for sensitive skins. The cream is noticeably thicker than normal face moisturisers and feels a little sticky on my skin. This is made worse by the fact I live in the tropics (~30C and high humidity) and for me a heavy cream is out of the question in my hot climate in which I inevitably sweat a little. Perhaps because of sweat mixing with the cream, my skin started to itch (albeit no redness or anything like that). On day two I bought the normal Cetaphil SPG15 day moisturiser (non redness preventing) and instantly my skin is relieved and doesn't feel sticky. I understand some people may prefer to have a cream that doubles as a concealer (that's what this is) but I reckon there's a good chance the tint isn't quite right for your skin and ends up looking a little unnatural anyway. Surely you are better off using a normal moisturiser and a little foundation (the right tint for your skin) on top, if that's what you want. Overall, I don't recommend this for anyone. Yes Cetaphil makes great products, but I think best avoid this one.

soothing, lightly covering
Scent free, lightly covering cream, feels smooth and hydrating. Colour is on the peach side for my skin; I would prefer something a little more beige/neutral, however it gives a great base and I can use less foundation cover. Arrived as promised in record time!
