Pixel 6 is not bad as most of the reviews say
The Internet is flooded with how bad this phone is, overheating issues, stuttering issues, pink tint on the screen, connectivity issues, battery issues and what not. I came across numerous videos, posts and articles about how Google pixel 6 is an okayish device and buy only at your risk and if you are a die hard Google fan.I am a fan of Google but not die hard. Still believes iPhones are at their peak of their hardware software optimisation and battery backup along with their excellent camera, but that's why the higher price. Justified. The pixel 6, didn't get launched in my country officially but can be purchased online with no further support once you buy it. Pixel 7 was costly for me and pixel 6a 60hz is something I am not okay with (others might be okay with it, I wasn't so please no offense) and both were launched officially in my country, not pixel 6 and 6 proDay 1I took a leap of faith and bought pixel 6. Got it on 16th October (5 days back) and initial impressions were good. Updated the system and patches, restored my account and all but the first day was horrible. Poor connectivity, it was getting very warm, very quick. Scrolling in the application drawer was not smooth either. Day 1 SOT was 3 hours. I felt people were right, Google made a mistake and that's why pixel 7 is getting all the praise (it must be a great phone though).Day 2I decided to return it within the windows of the 7 days i have but things started to get better on the 2nd day. The most noticeable difference was the reduced temperature when I held the phone. Everything else was the same more or less. The connectivity issue was still there. The apps were not loading on WiFi but working fine on mobile data. Sometimes the mobile data became useless and i had to go to the WiFi area.Day 3First time I noticed the battery is getting better too. I cancelled my return request and decided to wait till the last day of my return window. The battery SOT was 5 hours at this point. The phone started to feel a bit smoother. Connectivity got better too. I was able to switch from WiFi to mobile data more seamlessly. I don't know how it happened.Day 4Battery SOT reached 6 hours, minimal heating and phone felt very stable. I figured out the things are falling into their places.Day 5Today is the 5th day and i am typing this post on my Pixel 6. Battery SOT is 7.5-8 hours. The phone is buttery smooth now. Idle battery drain is still on the higher side 17%. No heating or overheating now. Connectivity is absolutely fine now and i live in an area where mobile data signals have moderate strength, not excellent (checked with iPhone, samsung and OnePlus - mobile signal strength is moderate) but i am able to recieve any call, anytime. I send text and get the delivery reports in 2-3 seconds after sending the text. The apps which were not working fine on WiFi on day 2 are working fine at all. And I must say, it's a very good phone, If not a great one. Not going to return it, and will keep it for the next 4 years at least.TLDR: Pixel 6 is a great device,it just needs more time to adapt everything. Not a phone you can take out of the box and expect it to perform the way it should. Give it a week before you make any decisions. Thanks, I don't see positive posts about pixel 6 very often, hence this honest experience.

Good allrounder phone
Pixel 6 is a good allrounder smartphone you can expect near equal flagship performance, excellent camera&haptics, speaker sounds good but fingerprint is little bit slow compared to fingerprint scanner of other smartphone after updating to Android 13 it's slow but it is pathetic while in Android 12 I think Google will clear this issue through software update. In Android 12 It has lot of bugs but in Android 13 only 2or3 bugs are found all the bugs have been resolved, battery performance is decent you can expect about 7h of screen time under normal usage. This smartphone can run games in higher settings it has excellent GPU but battery life is concern finally if you're a professional user just go for it.(It doesn't have warranty in India so those who purchase must carefully handle the smartphone only seller warranty is offered about 1 year)

Be patient until the Software Updates Install!(24 hour Review)
For anyone hesitant in taking the leap of faith on the Google Pixel 6, its a hidden Jem! Hear me out.Ordered my phone on 4th May 2022, from seller - TECH-RETAIL. Price - 48,345/- (with Prime). Was delivered on the 5th in perfect condition.Carrier information provided on the product page suggested T-Mobile, which meant a US import. But the actual phone package suggests a Japanese import. And FYI, Pixel 6 is Dual sim - But (Physical + eSim). After a thorough month's search for a mid-range(50K) mobile, narrowed my search down to Galaxy S21 FE & Google Pixel 6. I did not want to go down the iPhone route, as I currently own a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.Previously I had owned an iPhone 5s(2015-18) & S9(2018-22), so S21 FE would have been a safe option with an excellent display, but I wanted to try something different with a flagship built quality and the customization of pure Android.Hence, wanted to switch over to the Pixel 6. And, thus started my journey of watching YT and Reddit reviews, And they were mixed. After watching these, I got the impression that either I would love my Pixel 6 or hate it for the rest of my life. Took "the leap of faith"(smitsv reference :p )and ordered the P6(8GB-128GB-Stormy Black) & had my fingers crossed. After unboxing my P6 -- Built quality is excellent with glass and aluminium, felt like a flagship.- Screen is very good. Coming from a S9 with WQHD resolution to a P6 with FHD+ 6.4in, screen is verygood but not excellent like the ones in iPhone 13 pro or s22. But that's a given considering this is a basemodel P6 and not the P6 pro.- 90Hz screen feels smooth. Screen gets bright adequately in direct sunlight. For Autobrightness, wait tillall the software updates/bug fixes/security patches install.- Pixel setup & Data transfer from my S9 was smooth and restored all the old data+apps in 15-20 mins. Before I had updated any of the Software updates, my first sign that maybe the negative reviews of the P6 were coming true were that, the in-screen Fingerprint scanner was horrible, would recognize after 2-3 attempts. Then Installed 3 Software Updates/Security Patches/ Bug Fixes (495MB,35MB,23MB) - These took me around 2 hours for it to download, install and optimize the phone. And voila!!! The beautiful Google P6 that people seem to have started falling in love, emerged from under the rocks.Snappy, Fingerprint works first time but sometimes takes a sec to recognize, great battery life, Autobrightness is adaptive- this mean it needs a minimum of 5-6 hours to start learning your brightness settings for different ambient lighting. So for the first 6 hours, keep adjusting the brightness slider in different lighting conditions even if the auto brightness is on, so the AI learns the pattern. To conclude, I love my new Pixel 6. For 48.4K - this is a Jem of a phone! You just need to be patient until all the Software Updates Install!

Phone has battery issue
Although the phone camera is fine, but the phone has battery heating issue. After 1 year of using, I am also facing charging issue. My phone battery is going from 50% to 0% is just 50-60 secs. Today I also noticed that the battery has swallowed and my display got detached from the phone.

Go for it!
This has been an amazing phone and has served me well for 2.5 years. Superb camera performance and amazing battery backup- this one beats iphone's camera by miles.
