This UV flashlight is nice and bright. It is lightweight and runs on 3 AAA batteries. The housing is durable metal and the lights are LED lights. The on/off button is soft rubber and dosen't take much pressure. It has a small lanyard to put around your wrist. I live in a mountainous rural area with lots of scorpions. I go scorpion hunting at night and this UV flashlight covers a lot of ground. This was a great investment. 5 stars!!!

My older pet urine detecting blacklight has fluorescent bulbs, and, lately, it's weakened a lot and cannot do the job. This handy little flashlight is much more comfortable to hold and use, does a better job than the old one ever did, and does it from a comfortable distance so I don't even have to bend close to look for spots. I love that it takes 3 AA batteries in lieu of a C battery, too. The old one took 3 D batteries, an awkward number and a relatively expensive purchase. Finally, I also appreciate the very good price on this one, so, on every level, I recommend it.

This sucker is bright for a black light. Works very well for a/c work as the light is some what focused and intense. I thought it was some cheesy party garbage light when I first viewed it on here. It's actually a fairly decent housing and switch. I wish that it fit 18650's the housing is a little odd size so it won't work.

So far, so good! This isn’t cheap plastic, but metal, so it feels heavy with the lights out. I was able to spot a few places on the carpet that need to be cleaned although the light could be brighter for the price. This is a great buy.

I bought this to legit check a pair of sneakers I was receiving in a trade... Fakes use invisible ink guide lines that can be detected with the UV light. Thankfully my sneakers were authentic! Now I have it on hand if I go to do a meet up and it also comes in handy to check for counterfeit money...I chose this flashlight after comparing it to others $10 and under... I like that it had more LEDs and the same design as the more expensive flashlights.The first thing I noticed before even opening the box was the weight... It has a pretty substantial weight for it's size and price. It has a sturdy feel in your hand and has a high quality appearance although mine did come with a few small chips and imperfections in the black coating. The end screws off and it has a cartridge that slides out and holds 3 AA batteries. There's an arrow on the side to show you which way to slide it back in I noticed after I put it in backwards the first time...Overall I'm pretty satisfied especially for the price.

First we should all recognize we get what we pay for. This UV flashlight works pretty well in a dark room. Quickly loses effectiveness in brighter environments. One issue I have is the connection between the battery pack and main circuit is not great so sometimes it won't turn on and sometimes it will flicker. It requires shaking/reassembly to make it work again. I experience this with most cheap flashlights like the ones you get free at harbor freight. This flashlight has pretty much the same design with UV instead of regular LED.

At first using it without glasses worked well. Without glasses we were able to see crumbs embedded in our shag rug but once we put the glasses on …. 😳 we saw EVERYTHING. Sneeze splatters on furniture, cat spray on the wall, mystery spots, and EVERY PARTICLE OF GOD KNOWS WHAT IN OUR BATHROOM. Needless to say I laid awake all night in horror and will be bombing our house in bleach tonight. We waited till the sun went down to use the flashlight to make it easier. Side note and stains on furniture/cushy carpet sinks in and appears dark instead of illuminated.
