Although a lot more expensive than it should be, Belkin's BoostCharge car phone mount is a convenient solution for iPhone users. As expected the quality of the product is on par with Belkin's other products and works in the same simple fashion, though much of this has to do with the introduction of MagSafe. MagSafe is great when it works, which is why it's important to consider how you're actually going to use the mount. To be clear, you need to use this mount either with the iPhone bare (caseless) or with a case that actually features MagSafe as part of the design (meaning that the magnetic contacts are built into it as a pass-through). Without these the iPhone is too heavy to stay on, but this is the same for other MagSafe accessories that requiring 'stacking'. Likewise a generic iPhone case that claims to be 'MagSafe' compatible isn't a guarantee that it will contain the magnetic contacts - this just means that the pass-through works when laying flat. The supplied cable is more than adequate in length (I've actually wrapped mine up a bit) and is high quality. And although the charger itself feels a little more generic, it's worth noting that these alone aren't particularly cheap, which is why it's worth considering this version of the product with it included. The mount fixes well in my 2009 Ford Fiesta, with a little fiddling to get the right angle. Charging speeds are acceptable for the rated power of 10w and at the very least charges the phone faster than it depletes, which is important when it's unlocked and using full brightness/maps/music. In short this is a great little product that has made it so much easier to bring my phone into 'car mode'. No plugging in or removing cables, just place it near the mount and it's fixed and charging.

This is a great charger for in the car, very easy to install, good value for money and the magnetic strength is very good and fits easily onto the vent and charges well.

I have recently purchased this product for both phone holder and charger. It is perfect to have practical product. Well build, easy installation. The only negative aspect of this product is not have strong magnetic power. I could say magnetic power is okay while using my phone without original cover but is quite weak with cover.

I've been using it for 3 years now, never had any problem. The mount had never slide off the vent, my phone had never fell off the mount at all. It simply works perfectly. And I like its low profile design. May not be the fastest wireless charger but, I really don't think it's a good idea to have fast wireless charging in a car anyway as the heat produce by wireless charging (not unique to this charger) while your phone is probably under the sun for long period of time.

Not fit for purpose. I have the iPhone 17 pro max It only holds the phone securely if you remove the iPhone case and my case is MagSafe. When you drive over a rough patch or a bump on the road the phone falls off. The magnet only works if you attach the phone bare without the case. The iPhone 17 pro max is much heavier than the standard iPhone.

Great phone holder and charger. I use it all the time and take it with me on holidays.

I'm really happy with this product. It looks good in my car and does exactly what I need it do. It works perfectly with a case that has magsafe and has such a strong hold on the phone. Even when driving over bumps and humps it doesn't cause the phone to drop down. A great addition to driving.

Very happy with this quality purchase. My iPhone 13 Pro holds on tight (I use an Apple MagSafe case). Have it attached to the air vent in my Honda Euro and have gone over bumps and sudden braking and have not had my phone fall off ever! The charge works well and the phone is easy to remove and attach. I was able to use another USB A to C cable to connect it and it works fine.
