I prefer this book to its Oxford counterpart. It is updated for the new syllabus. It arrived quickly.

i like chemistry

Bought for son doing IB. It's his goto book for Chemistry. Finds it very useful and informative. Good illustrations and diagrams. Very expensive thought ... it's paper back and school text book ... you'd think it could come in at about £30.

I am very happy with this HL Chemistry book for the IB. I have not taught HL Chemistry yet, but the book certainly helps to do so. The explanation of difficult subjects is as simple as possible, the visual presentation is clear and colourful. Many tables and graphs complete the examples given and sentences to memorise are highlighted. Until now I have found satisfactory answers to all my questions. A very helpful chemistry book. It is easy to understand and with a lot of exercises. My daughter loves it!

My son studies biochemistry abroad and still checks certain facts once and a while from this IB book he packed in his luggage.

Excellent textbook for HL chemistry! Everything is incredibly well explained and there are loads of practice question (with answers in the online version) Could not be better!
