ZuPreem FruitBlend Small Bird Pellets, Vitamin Fortified, 2 lb, Pack of 2

Every bird I've ever owned has been transitioned to this food. I have owned both parakeets and cockatiels of all ages, sizes, and origins (pet store and hand-raised alike) and I have NEVER had to work to transition them over. This food is like bird crack! They love the taste, the smell, and the color. I currently have two cockatiels that were born and raised on a seed diet, and all i had to do was fill their dish with this and they were hooked. I absolutely adore this food - it's relatively inexpensive, it smells and looks great, and it's infinitely less messy than a seed blend. Y'all that have fed your birds seed know exactly what I'm talking about: discarded seeds and empty hulls EVERYWHERE. Not the case with this food! Be aware that if your bird is color-picky they might refuse some of these pellets. Ellie hated green and would leave the green pellets in her bowl, but would eat the rest. If you have more than one bird, you're less likely to have that issue. I would recommend the small pellet size for cockatiels, although the brand suggests you buy medium instead - the smaller size is more reminiscent of the kind of seed cockatiels prefer, so they're more likely to eat it. Once you switch your bird over, you will notice an improvement in feather quality, mood, and general health. Just buy it already. It's the best choice you'll ever make.

My vet had us switch off seed. My cockatiels and parakeets took a while to adjust. This food helped make the transition easier, because they actually like it.

Everything is good with the food nd delivery. Not sure if my birds love it yet but it was rated one of the top pellets so we’ll see how they like it.

My bird just would NOT switch completely to pellets! I’ve tried it all- Until this product! It took about a month but now he eats this with a tiny sprinkle of cockatiel seed mix on top and he gobbles it right up! I had tried Zupreem natural and he didn’t like it on its own so I ground that up in the vitamix and have added that in with these pellets so they weren’t wasted. He did like a little of the Harrison’s Super fine but wouldn’t completely switch over and it was too expensive. This blend I very fresh and hasn’t given any gi upset like the Kaytee rainbow pellets (those were a hot mess for us and really hurt our Birb!) All in all- just thrilled to finally find a pellet for our beautiful bird!

I use a subscription amd get 2 bags at a time for an extra discount. My quaker loves this food! Sometimes he's picky and eats around one color or another but he likes this better than other pellets.
