Lively Pets Hip and Joint Supplements + Skin and Coat with Glucosamine and MSM for Dogs

My dog is 14-1/2 years old. Last year he had gotten really itchy & stinky. He started chewing all the time & was losing huge patches of hair to the point that most of his rear end was pretty much bald & his skin was flaking badly.Also due to his age he has been having more & more difficulty moving around.Within 1 week of giving him a daily dose of this, he stopped scratching & the bad stink went away! 2 weeks in I noticed his hair was growing back in on his backside & he seemed to be feeling a bit more spry!I just ordered my 2nd bottle & he’s recently been playing & roughhousing with my son’s two 6 month old puppies who he USED to snap at! His hair has grown back in & he OBVIOUSLY feels much better! He still has an old dog walk, but it will take time for the glucosamine & chondroitin to fully repair any damage that age has done to his joints.He loves the bacon flavored “squishy” & always begs for more. lol

My 16 year old Schipperke has never looked better. Her hair is REALLY SOFT after taking this daily for a month, which wasnt what I was expecting. Shinier, sure, but somehow her coat is actually SOFTER, too. Its very noticeable.I am super pleased with this product. Its pricey, but the effects on my pup are absolutely worth it.The other day I, literally, could barely keep up with her on our evening walk. She was all GO GO GO...dashing ahead of me with happy gusto... at the end of the walk I started running alongside her, since thats what she clearly wanted to do.She hasnt wanted to do that in over a year.Great product. The ONLY thing that gets in the way of this being PERFECT is that she doesnt intitially want to eat this. After I crumble some and smear a little on her mouth... then she will go ahead an eat it. I have no idea WHY I have to do this first, but whatever.

My 13 y.o. Pomeranian has had a few bouts of stiffness and carrying her front legs in the past year that had my worried. She’s on senior food but I’d never considered supplements until these issues the last few months. She just finished her first container of these and she has not had any signs of stiffness or tenderness since we started and she is no longer acting apprehensive about jumping up and down off of the furniture! She loves them and now looks forward to the treat as part of her morning routine and they’re soft which is great for older dogs that may not be good with hard treats. I showed the product to my vet before starting her regimen and the ingredients had his seal of approval. Just repurchased!

These didn't really work for my 75 lb pitbull. He ate and liked them a lot, but would throw them up about 10 minutes later. I'm bringing the supplements to the vet when we go in March to see if he's allergic to something they're made of. I will try to revise my review then. I still rated 4 stars because the company offered to return my money after I told them about Smokey not be able to handle these...and I didn't even ask them to. All my respect for that...and thank you again! If the vet says my little pal can't take them, Smokey has a 80 lb black lab buddy that he's going to give these to.

I have had my 1 1/2 year old chocolate lab on these for about 2 months now. I have seen a huge difference in her coat and skin. Even though she is on a salmon and sweet potato diet, her skin was constantly dry and flaky, the hair was course on the top of her back and she had a lot of shedding. These chews are wonders and now she has a super shiny coat, skin is no longer dry at all, and has about 75% less shed. She has to take 3 a day though based on her weight so the container only lasted me 3 weeks vs a month. Highly recommend! She is also extremely picky and rarely likes a treat but she just eats these right up with no issues which is another relief!

It's only been about maybe 2 wks, but they seem to work pretty fast and well. My 10 yo shiba hurt his back knee, according to the vet, and he has skin allergies, likely due to chicken. This has started to noticeably change his coat--it's becoming much softer and fluffier, like when he was a pup. He isn't limping as much either. I wanted to give it to my Alaskan malamute, since large breeds are prone to hip/joint problems, as a sort of pro-active measure and to make his coat softer. But these are on the expensive side so he only gets em a couple times a week. I think they're probably worth the money, especially for smaller dogs who only require one. But for large dogs that require like 4, per the directions, it wouldn't last long enough to justify the price IMO.

I purchased the Premium Chews to see if it would help our Maltese, Sophie, and her constant scratching. So far, I have been pleased at the effect Premium Chews has had on her. The scratching hasn't totaling been resolved but it has improved significantly, making her more at rest. The price kept me from giving it 5 stars. Fortunately, Sophie is small requiring only one chew per day, the larger the dog the more chews. I know you get what you pay for but having Sophie on prescription food and treats as well it all begins to add up.

My 8 year old APBT thinks he is a pup again. I know this product works, my dog is getting old for his breed. All of his life he loves runningup and down our stairs, past few months we notice he did not seem as interested , chalked it up to age and maybe some joint pain, After 2 days it is like he is on some serious rejuvenation as he is back to his running up and down the stairs as soon as he hears the cellar door open. He is big for his breed so we give him 1 chew in the morning and a second in the afternoon. This product will now be part of his diet for the rest of his life.
