I love spoiling my niece but I’m more interested in trying to find a hobby that she can really grow to be passionate about. She is 6 and she just really tends to lack focus or interests and doesn’t like to learn rules or follow directions very much. So, without any pressure or guilt or anything negative, I’ve just been getting her something every once in a while to see if anything really makes her happy and engages her in a way that makes her want to learn and focus. I’ve tried archery and a wide array of sports, painting and a variety of crafts, some instruments, encouraging singing and learning dance routines.....nothing will hold her attention for more than a few minutes. I don’t want to force anything on her, I just hope she can find something that will enhance her ability to learn and concentrate. So here we are with a camera. I don't think she understands yet that she can take pictures and videos, but we are working on some ideas. She seems to like the idea of putting on little show. She doesn’t really get the available options on this little camera but I do and I think if she gives this a fair try, she will be able to use this and understand how it works fairly quickly. It’s cute and she likes the little paw prints. A big bonus for me is that it feels pretty sturdy. She can be a bit careless and even more, she’s related to me, so she got the clumsy gene as well. Lol I will update this review if anything goes wrong with it, but it sure doesn’t seem like it will.

Light plastic one t.he screen went black after first fall

Such a great kids camera for such a great price! My girls adored these! If you are expecting pro quality this obviously isn’t it but for kids the quality is pretty darn good! Plus no expensive paper to buy. Easy enough for my 5 year old to enjoy and substantial enough for my 9 year old to get reasonably good quality photos!
