Perfect for my student grand daughter who is just into algebra. Over 1000 pages of clear instructions with illustrations and examples. Also has many pages in the back of the book with extra practice with answers. I suggest getting one before they are gone from the market place because schools are getting away from text books like these -- a shame because they are an invaluable teaching aid.

I purchase a home set of my son's school books every Fall for our convenience. He never has that excuse that he forgot to bring his school books home. It is a cost saving solution for us to buy home copies. His backpack is not weighed down with heavy books. He has been using the same L.L. Bean backpack now for some 4 years with two more years to go. This book was very clean and useable. Makes a great home copy for my son.

This is a wonderful algebra book, presented in a way that someone who is interested in algebra can work out the problems himself. Also, the real-world applications are very helpful. We have used the Glencoe series for homeschooling, and we are very satisfied with the way the lessons are presented,and by the examples given.
