I just switched from a queen to a king sized bed and needed a new duvet cover. I have a West Elm linen duvet cover for my queen comforter, which I love and got on sale. Replacing it at full price was a little over my budget. I shopped around at Garnet Hill, Company Store, Pottery Barn and figured I would try this inexpensive option first. I'm glad I did, the linen feels very similar to my West Elm duvet, and it comes with two king sized pillowcases. It did have a bit of a plastic smell from the packaging but it went away after washing. I got the light gray color option and it is lighter than expected, a very pale gray. I wish there were a few more color options but I'm happy with what I received. Will be purchasing sheets as well!

Although the texture of the cover is great, the size and quality isn’t. The cover itself is very thin. My duvet insert is a cream shade and you can see it off set the bright whiteness of the duvet cover. That doesn’t bother me as much as the sizing does. I know even though you choose King it doesn’t mean your duvet and duvet cover will be the same but come on! I have at least a foot of extra fabric at the end of my duvet.

I want to head and purchased this one as well so that I could compare the two before making my final decision and I have to tell you I was more impressed with the quality of this in the overpriced Pottery Barn version. If you’re wanting a super bright white this is white but it’s not ultra white because of the distressed linen .

First off, if you are looking for affordable linen that seems to be sturdy quality, light to medium thickness, please know this is totally worth the money. Color is great, fit is great, style is great. As you are purchasing affordable linen, it's important to remember that it's going to take something to get it to soften up. Upon arrival, it's scratchy. I expected this. Sometimes you're paying extra for the company to soften it up for you with treatments, chemicals, and multiple stonewashes.Here's what I did to get it to a reasonable softness I can sleep with without itching:-wash 1 hot water | dry 1 medium heat (if i had thought of it i would add tennis balls)-wash 2 warm water + 1/2c. baking soda | dry 2 medium heat with 3 tennis balls-wash 3 warn water + 1c. vinegar at the rinse | dry 3 medium heat with 3 tennis ballsI think it's going to take another 3 washes before it gets to the softness I want, but since I pay for laundry I did 3 at once and I'll throw it in the wash more often than I normally would for awhile. I will use cool water from now on probably. It's not too thick or heavy so my down comforter doesn't compress under it. I probably would not use it in the summer, it's heavier than the cotton one I had, but not so much that it's unmanagable.Get it, but be ready to work to get it soft.

I received this order promptly after I had spent several weeks comparing different linen duvet covers. I saw several on amazon that I liked, but settled on this one for the decent reviews and the price. I am more than pleased with my purchase. The color is perfect - exactly what I wanted (I ordered natural linen color). The texture is a nice smoothness (refined) for linen. I love that the buttons are hidden and that there are ties on the inside corners to anchor the duvet in place. I would recommend measuring your duvet and ordering by measurement. I did. My duvet is a "queen" size but by the numbers I ordered a Full size cover. It is not too snug. Just a little bit large around the edges, but not bad. Overall I am very happy and feel like this is a great value. Beautiful linen at a good price.
