Great car camp stove that lets you save some packing space
This is a great little stove. I haven’t used it camping yet. BUT I did several tests at home. I was able to pick up Coleman butane at a local Walmart since the butane won’t ship to the state I live in. It worked wonderfully. So don’t worry, you don’t need the gas one butane to operate this stove. This stove is designed really well, the butane locks in and lighting is simple. Instructions are easy to follow and the carrying case is clutch. I got the orange and the color is very cool. Of course this is probably best for car camping. And it’s only one burner but honestly my friend has the Coleman camp stove with two burners and it takes up so much more space. This fits in my 8gal action stacker just fine even in its case. The heat was ample to heat water quickly and cook food. Not sure how windproof it would be. But for the price it’s a great buy and it gives you a smaller profile for a high output cooking stove. I could even see this being used by people who do cooking demos and are out in a place that might not have electric hookups and must operate off fuel sources. Be sure to remember the stove is hot. So give it time to cool before packing and as the instructions said after removing the butane run the stove to gas out any fuel left in the chamber to avoid any issues. Excited to use this and show it off on my next camp trip!

Sturdy car camping stove at a reasonable price.
This one burner butane stove packs a punch. It fits snug into its case, is light weight yet feels sturdy, comes with piezo auto-ignition and offers good flame control. All at a price point that doesn't break your budget. I have used it on a few camping trips without any trouble whatsoever. No, I don't know how long it takes to boil 1 liter of water. What I know is that a single 8oz Butane canister was enough to boil water for coffee, prepare freeze dried meals, and heat up patties for a party of 5 for both dinner and breakfast. So, the stove does burn efficiently. The setup is simple and you can start cooking in less than a minute. Couple of improvements can make this stove ideal for car camping. First there is no wind protection on the burner, something that the manufacturer can easily add with a redesign. Now absent that, you'll need to purchase a separate wind screen - not a biggy. I bought GasOne's windscreen for $10 (search for B01HH5YEIE on Amazon) which works great with the stove. Second, there is no space to store the butane canister in the stove's case. Again not a biggy if you are car camping. You are likely already hoarding a boatload to the camp site, so a couple tiny butane canisters won't be much hassle. Though would be nice if the manufacturer redesigned the case and added dedicated storage space for atleast 1 butane canister. The positives of this stove far out weight the limitations I called out above, and this stove is still worth every bit of your consideration if you are looking to buy a good car camping stove at a reasonable price.

Worth the extra bucks
Does as described. Very satisfied with the purchase. This is a well built product and is definitely not flimsy. Still need to test it in action in the next camping trip. Stay tuned…
