Wasnt what i was expecting

While the product itself is great, the construction of the bags need work.Pros:*Gloss is light, not thick and sticky*Gloss can be paired with colored powder to create colorful lip glosses*Easy to useCons:The part of the bag where the gloss actually comes out had a hole/slit so gloss was coming out of both the slit and the actual opening where it's suppose to come, making it almost impossible to get the gloss in a tube. It was a huge mess. The construction of the gloss bag needs revision for more effective pouring.

I wish I would have read the ingredients before ordering. Now I feel bad that I wasted 2 because I will not be using them. I got them because I want to start making my own natural makeup. This lip gloss base is very sticky which is the reason I looked up the ingredients. Mineral Oil! Mineral oil should be avoided in all cosmetics. It feels moisturizing because it's oil but it's only moisturizing while it's on and in reality is drying. Mineral can contain contaminates. Researchers stated, “There is strong evidence that mineral oil hydrocarbons are the greatest contaminant of the human body, amounting to approximately 1 gram per person. Possible routes of contamination include air inhalation, food intake, and dermal skin absorption.”

This lip gloss base is excellent and so easy to use! I love that it comes in this little squeeze pouch. It’s simple to just squeeze out exactly the amount you want to use and add any color or glitter or flavor or whatever else you plan to use in your gloss to the base and then put that in your tubes and you’re good to go. Care instructions for the base are also included with the package. I will definitely be getting some more of this if/when I run out of my first batch of glosses that I am experimenting with. I’m so happy with this first pouch though. Highly recommend!
