It will pull the oils out of any pliable substance, fading the color and make it brittle. It is a very effective degreaser, great for clothes with gas, oil, or grease on them.

Q: What is the difference between industrial strength and super strength

They both work the same I just think that the industrial tends to make my hands burn. It also has a stronger smell. So more ventilation is needed. I truly love Mean Green as it cuts grease and nicotine like no other product I have ever used. If the area you are working on feels tacky you have to rinse the area with water.

Q: Can this be used for laundry?

Yes! Its great at removing heavy soiling and heavy grease stains. If you use it paired with oxyclean type stain removers you can remove dirt, grease, blood, oil, and whatever else mechanic's get on their clothes.
