Maybe It's Just Me?
I like this model. I really do. If I'd bought it ten years ago, I'd have given it five stars. Even nowadays, I have trouble resenting the mold quality given I only paid something like $25 for it.But nowadays, the trouble I had getting the tracks to line up without a big honking gap between the treads is just a problem. I don't rule out the possibility that it was just me or something was screwy with this particular kit, but I've assembled dozens of other models without this kind of problem.I also have an issue with the antenna. This is a game piece, not a model, and that thin plastic antenna lasted all of a day before it got snapped in half by a passing cat. This isn't as big of a deal as the tread gap, as the antenna can be replaced by a wire, but I'd have liked if the kit included that wire rather than the plastic cat-bait in the first place.
