Lowest price replacement
The old set (white plastic pieces) was warped and wasn't sealing correctly. This set works great and was the cheapest new set I could find. I kept the old hoses, splitter, and gaskets just in case.

Easy to use, great quality and output for hands free
This is my favorite hands free pump. I used it as my primary pump while at work and my output was always compared to a wall-unit pump. Easy to assemble and clean. I will definitely be using this pump again when my second baby arrives.

Elvie Stride vs the Spectra S1
After 4 days of testing the spectra..vs the Elvie Stride (my opinion - take it/leave it and be sure to test what is best for you)..I am a business owner and in front of a computer all day..so this is for the modern working EP. 1. Output. Down with the Spectra S1 by about 2 ounces compared to Elvie Stride (contrary to what LC told me would happen indicating the only way I will fully empty is with a spectra s1...wrong.. - - remember to always test out what is best for you). Where is there a breast pump testing subscription...lets go Amazon...get this rolling so we can try out breast pumps since there are only about 100 freaking pumps on the market. Goodness. 2. The traditional flanges are not for me…the pumping bra (still can’t get the flanges to be secured in the kindred bravely pumping bra 3. Tubing sucks on spectra - I could not walk around it gets caught on everything and moves the flange from the nipple. So many times this happened to me but I also need to sit my butt down but who has time to be sitting for 30 straight minutes in the optimal position when having trad'l flanges on...! 4. Cleaning - bulky parts - Elvie has less and stores in the fridge with the fridge hack better in the elvie plus bag it comes with..throw the cups in there...and then throw them in the fridge - nice! 5. Discreet - way better with the Elvie cups..these flanges are frankly in the way! I go out for walks with the elvie stride cups, I am on calls, I just look busty. 6. Power/comfortable - Elvie cups are better for me, Flanges are so uncomfortable and I have to haul around that huge power machine 7. Mobile/hands free - could not type- awkward with spectra - I forget the elvie cups are on when typing/working. 8. Sitting position - have to have shoulders back with spectra otherwise milk seems to back up if not leaning forward frequently.. 9. Sound - Elvie quieter 10. Power…I find it to be the same.. the hub on Elvie Stride is powerful..the optimal settings I have had to do is stimulation for 2 minutes..then expression upped from 5-6 on Elvie and now more milk. 11. Charges - more charging on stride, less on Spectra 12. How often - Yield is far better now and always going 30 minutes, with 2.75 hour frequency and by 3 hr mark pumping for 30 minutes…at 25 min my yield goes down and it took me a week to get it back!! My last pump has been at 8pm and my next pump is at 7am and can maintain at this volume with the first pump in morning being a “Power Pump”—google for the cycle..total with rests is 60 min. Earlier the pump the better..if I could just get up earlier like I use to…if I started my pump session at 530a wow the milk would be higher and still a good yield a few hours later. It is lower the later you go in the AM since prolactin is dropping..now that all makes sense why I had good milk yields when I was up with Fred at 1am and 5am! 13. beau cushions work great with elvie stride - more comfortable, too!

Took some getting used to but I love it now!
I bought this pump after being tired of stationary pumping. I was worried that it wouldn’t empty me very well, but it performed just as good as my medela pump - I know because I tried to manual pump after using the Stride a couple of times to check if there was more to give, and there were just drops. I also read some reviews where people couldn’t get all the pumped milk out, so I do have a tip for this below. PROS: - love being mobile, I can get other things done like eating, washing dishes, etc - relatively quiet, like a phone vibration - battery lasts all day for me, I pump 5x 18-20 min a session, then charge at end of day - pretty easy to clean, only 4 parts (I use the nanobebe electric brush and it makes it quick) CONS: - some things are still difficult but not impossible to do, like holding & feeding baby, and bending over can cause potential leakage - placement on breasts takes some getting used to because it’s difficult to see in the little placement hole (I found this much easier with a bra that has a clip to come down so there’s more light coming through the sides over a sport bra) - takes some practice pouring and getting all the milk out - parts need to be completely dry when assembling which can be difficult washing & pumping every 3-4 hours - when pump switches from stimulation mode to expression mode automatically, it goes back to the middle suction setting, even if you’ve turned it up during expression. I believe this can be changed in the app but it’s pretty annoying there’s no manual way to set this TIPS: - I use the fridge hack and keep the pump parts (assembled but obvs without the motor) in a covered container in the fridge between pumps, then wash my pump at the end of the day. Expressed milk can technically be left out 4 hours, and my 5x pumping at 20 minutes brings me to around 2 hours of the milk being at room temp, so I’m satisfied with that. Not everyone is comfortable doing this (it’s recommended to wash after each use) and I wouldn’t do this if baby were sick and only started doing this after our baby turned 4 months. It does mean that I put on the cups cold, which is not that pleasant, but I prefer it to washing. - To get all the milk out, Elvie has a video taking the pump apart and pouring the remaining milk out that was stuck in the diaphragm. Since I do the fridge hack, I am not taking the pump apart. Instead after doing the initial pour, I make a pumping motion on the diaphragm (basically the same motion the pump makes - see image) to get the milk to come out, then I pour out the rest.

I am livid!!!
I’ve had enough!! So much so, I am willing to waste my time with an infant by my side and write a review so other new moms don’t suffer like I have. I have purchased this piece of garbage twice!! Yes twice. Because when it works, which is 10% of the time, it works great. The suction is better than my spectra s1. It’s also convenient to care for a newborn and infant with low profile cups. With that said, only because I’m a complete fool did I continue to purchase parts for this garbage every single time it stopped working on me. As other reviewers have mentioned, those stupid little rubber gaskets fail often, and when they do, milk either falls out or you completely lose suction. The company doesn’t sell the rubber gaskets as replacement parts. You have to purchase the top cup part with it, making the whole thing cost a lot every single time you need to replace them. Talk about a rip off. Sometimes when a part fails mid-pump, suction messes up and milk goes into the tubes, and into the motor. This happened to me at least 4 times now in 6 months. If you’re lucky, you catch it before the pump breaks. I wasn’t so lucky once and had to repurchase the entire pump kit. When I received the new pump, the tubes were kinked, brand new out of the box. I reached out to the company and they sent replacement tubes right away. So their customer service wasn’t bad, at least from my experience. As I sit here for the third day, suffering because I can’t get a decent pump, I decided to finally write a review and warn about this thing. I’m currently using just one cup, one breast at a time, because this thing failed on me once again and I can’t tell which piece of rubber is the culprit. I’ve changed out several parts, waiting on the final piece with the gasket to see if that will fix it. All in all, I’ve spent around $1,000 so far servicing this thing and it’s still breaking on a weekly basis. My supply is suffering, my breasts hurt, I am forced to supplement with formula, and I am at my lowest point in my breastfeeding journey because I chose to buy the wrong hands-free pump. Ladies, save yourself the grief and pain. Do not purchase this pump!!!! Listen to the bad reviews. Stay away!! This company should be ashamed of themselves for knowingly producing a sub-par product and selling it to desperate moms who will do anything and pay anything to make sure their babies are fed. This is a disgusting tactic. A very blatant form of the pink tax, where we get shafted because we’re desperate.

Happy with my choice!
I’ve used this 4 times now and have absolutely loved it as an exclusive pumper. I have a Philips Avent and Medela In Style wall pump that I’ve been using but wanted something that was easier for the night pumps to reduce my awake time. PROS: This thing is super quiet - I can pump in bed without disturbing my husband at all. It’s so quiet that I can doze off a little while pumping. It’s really comfortable. I’ve had no pain while pumping and they fit nicely into my bra. Definitely not discrete, but I’m a C cup so I feel like any wearable would make them look comically large. I’m getting the same if not slightly better output from my wall pumps! So, I don’t feel like there’s a trade off at all with the continence of it. CONS: I really wanted something that I could hold my baby with. I CAN with these, but it’s not as comfortable as I’d like. He can easily knock them off if I have him on my shoulder or I have to hold him under them. Now, I might get more comfortable doing it when I’ve had them longer, but for right now it’s awkward. Cleaning it super sucks at 1 AM. I feel like there’s so much to take apart and clean for my next session. I was hoping it would be simpler. I can’t massage my boobs to help get milk out. With my bigger boobs I’ve been having the massage them, especially the sides, to totally empty. Wearing these makes it hard to do that and I ended up with a sore spot (I’m assuming a small clog) that I couldn’t get out wearing this. OVERALL: I labored over what pump to get because they’re so expensive and I was paying for it out of pocket, but I’m super happy with my choice. It’s quick to get on, gives me good output, and is so quiet. I feel like that’s as good as it gets with these things!

Great if you want to be hands free in the house
This pump is great for getting chores done around the house. Loved how easy it was it use. Not very quiet because a relative kept asking what the sound was. Oh well. I recommend buying an extra set of parts so you can have a clean pair waiting or stick one in the fridge in between sessions.

Easy to replace for a great price.
Package comes with 3 replacement valves, perfect for if one goes bad later down the road and in need of it fast. My favorite wearable pump and and replacements are easy to get.
