Very cheap looking pages and photos. Very disappointed
Christmas present. Bought for my Sonning law who was Bourn in 1971. Very disappointed with quality. Nearly all text and very few photos, which look very cheaply reproduced.

NOT A LOT HERE …
As somebody who was a kid in the seventies I think this could have been so much more than a series of lists. There are also a couple of glaring errors not least the fact that the notorious Yorkshire Ripper was Peter and not William Sutcliffe. Quite disappointing!

Amazing
I bought the 60s version of this and loved it so I ordered 2 copies (one for me, one for my parents).Just did the same with this 70s version, and I haven't been disappointed. Such a good read, and unlike some of the other books of this style, it's not "in your face" or condescending. It's funny, moving, informative, and brilliantly written.I can't recommend it enough.
