CAN I PUT THIS ON MY SKIN TO KILL SCABIES

This is not for use on skin. Try Kleen free which is a natural enzyme cleaner. Really helped, and with buying the concentrate, it's very affordable. Something that seems hard to find when dealing with scabies. We also found hibiclens really helped. We applied it like body lotion from the chin down and just left it on until our daily showers, washed our hair with it, and then reapplied. We really noticed a difference after just 3 days. It's not cheap, but also not insanely expensive. It will not form suds. Suds are produced by adding unnecessary ingredients to products. The product ingredients do the work, not the suds. Anyway, we applied the hibiclens with a regular old spray bottle. Just a very light film was all we used, so a 32 ounce bottle actually lasted quite awhile. Much longer than we expected. It is pink. It cannot be added to wash because it could stain. That's where this product is your go to. It kills mites in the wash. We had no problems with staining from the hibiclens after it dried.Hibiclens does not say it is for scabies. It's a hospital grade hand cleanser with residual benefits. Always do a test spot and proceed with caution. Especially when dealing with children. Our treatment of using this product in the wash (of course all bedding and anything else that touches the skin must be changed and sanitized every day). Nobody ever mentions what they treated their hair with, and those evil little mites love hiding there. We used the hibiclens, using the spray bottle again for short hair, and a basic syringe to apply a small even amount directly to the scalp in stripes, then rubbed it around for very long, fine hair. We left the ends of the long hair alone as the solution rinsed thru it anyway. Applied hibiclens to our skin right out of the shower, and carried around a little sprayer of the Kleen free enzyme cleaner to spray on itching patches throughout the day, right over the hibiclens. All of us in the family, whether diagnosed with scabies or no followed the same treatment routine. We treated early with the first signs (went to the doctor immediately instead of using a wait, see, and pray it's not scabies mindset because the earlier they're caught, the less tunneling and number of mites are available to make you miserable). They are extremely contagious, so we figured why wait and pass these back and forth, we treated aggressively. Everyone. So far, it's been 2 months since anyone had any symptoms, so we think we're done. It's easy to get tired or distracted, and skip a step, or a day of sanitizing everything. It's a lot of work, while being driven to the edge by constant, terrible itching. It makes it impossible to get a full nights sleep, so you're barely functioning plus adding a whole new time consuming routine to your day, but it only takes one day to be back at square one. That means all of your previous hard work and money have been wasted. We went at it with an attitude of 'this needs to be treated like we've all become diabetics, and skipping steps or putting in half an effort could have severe long term consequences', so we would stick it out and be grateful that we could be cured. Sanitizing your bedding and clothing with this is a must. We found our super energy efficient washer and dryer didn't get hot enough to kill the bugs. Adding this to your wash from day one will eliminate any chance of the mites surviving on your clothes. Don't overlook furniture and carpets. If you touch it, it has mites (but again, do test spots so you don't ruin anything). That includes blankets, pillows, comforters, hats, mittens, scarfs, and so on. Get mistress and pillow covers that specify they keep mites and bedbugs out. Not just covers to keep allergens out, and make sure they have sealed zippers, or you will be buying new mattresses. You can then infect the new mattresses. The better mattress and pillow covers cost a little more, but far, far less than new mattresses. Remember to wipe them down with a product that not only disinfection, but also has insecticidal properties, and attack the scabies mites on all fronts. Please respect others and don't spread them to your co-workers. Ideally stay home, but if that isn't an option, either come clean about what you've got and warn others, or if honesty isn't the best policy, pick something contagious and tell people around you, that you've been exposed and are trying to protect them from catching it. Like pink eye. It could be in the family but you're not currently showing symptoms. It should keep everyone a step away. Don't forget to clean everything you touch at work too. When you're finally free of scabies, post what worked and what didn't. Recommend products like this, because if you help one person cut their misery short by posting a positive product review, your endless itching wasn't in vain. Good luck.

Dilution ratio for benzarid

Great disinfectant! No harsh smell, a lot goes a long way

This stuff is AWESOME! I bought this for my parents house. They bought a house that had been squatted in resulting in doors and windows being left open leaving the inside exposed to the elements and mice. After the first week trying to clean this mess up, my mom caught MRSA. I bought this stuff and SOAKED the entire basement in in from top to bottom. Nobody had a problem since. It killed the musty basement smell as well which is a huge plus. It does not have a strong odor either. 1 bottle covered half the basement so I'd say the value is worth it, especially with how effective the spray is.

Great stuff!

I had some areas of pretty severe black mold. It took a few spraying but I'm mold free now. First scrub what you can, then spray this on it and let it do it's thing. I Ley a couple days go by between spraying. Very happy with it. And smells nice.

Great product!

Works great. I have used this on my ac’s to prevent mold and haven’t had any issues. Smell is kinda basic. I would say it’s close to awesome, the cleaner.

I like it

The reason why I bought this was because i had mice in my home and there was poop to clean. Luckily I was able to get rid of them. This stuff is strong so I would suggest opening the windows or door for air to flow. However, this gives me a piece of my mind that the surfaces are clean. I leave it for about 10 minutes and with gloves i clean the mess up. I highly recommend to give this a try. This is a disinfectant not a cleaner to make your home smell good.

This Works

We had a water leak in our finished basement area and we don't know how long it had been leaking. The baseboard and carpet was quite wet. I got this product and sprayed once and haven't seen any additional mold. The scent is acceptable.
