It really helps

It can reduce the discomfort after sitting too long

Nope

This gave good lumbar support but your upper back remains unsupported. My posture is better without this. Your shoulders will still bunch over using this since it's only lumbar support. It only works on cars surfaces too. If you use it on something soft the plastic really digs into your legs and back and it's very painful.
