These things are LOUD and exactly what you want!
Install was easy. Don't buy these things and expect your going to install these in a Mini Cooper! You need room for the 3 gallon tank. The horns as well. With that said, if you have the real estate these things kick some serious ..S! Love them. Totally worth the moneh. I was sceptical when buying these. I'm so glad I did. I mounted this in a K1500 pickup. I mounted the tank and the compressor in the bed of the truck. I didn't want to mount underneath the bed due to moisture and being too far from the battery. I don't use the bed and I have an even better excuse not to move any of my friends! Seriously, these things are going to get me a ticket! They are perfect. Don'ts spend any more money that 250 bucks on horns. This is what you want. Feel free to ask me questions. I agree with other comments about the length of the air line. They could have spared double the distance for almost nothing. 6' is touch I can imagine in most installs. All the hardware that came with the kit was good. I purchased a relay but that's all I needed and preferred to do other than what they provided. A relay is a must honestly if you want to do this correctly.

Cheaply built system!
I purchased the system two years ago. During installation many of the connectors were very cheap and brittle. I had to go to Lowe’s a few times to get new ring terminals and a couple additional VC push on connectors to place the horns where I wanted. Two months ago I noticed I had no air for my airhorns. I checked it out today and ruled out that the pump went bad. It didn’t surprise me since brief operations of the motor and compressor extremely hot. As far as the sound, it was awesome but the delivery of the system and the quality the materials just isn’t there. I would not recommend this product. If anything by individual components and save money.

The tone on this set is a bit higher than I like, but my kids think it sound like a real train. I was skeptical when I saw the small size of the air line for the horn, how loud this would be. This thing is crazy loud!Pro's: LOUD. Seems to be great quality. No issues sealing fittings.Con's: Not enough air line and none can be sourced locally. Fuse holder and wire gauge with it are inadequate for the load the compressor requires.Hint's: make sure you have space for everything. I planned to put this in my 2014 Wrangler Unlimited, with the tank on the side with the subwoofer, between the rear seat and the subwoofer. I also have a Tuffy security deck #299 installed. I ended up not having enough room there, put it on the other side. The four horns, I had planned to cut into two sets to better fit them under the Jeep. The four horns as is, fit no top of the transfer case skid plate facing rearward between the exhaust pipe and the drive shaft, clearing each by about 1/2". Time will tell how good a location this will be. We do off road pretty hard, so will see how out of harms way they are too. Someone recommended placing tube socks over the horns to keep dirt/mud out of them.

Only bad experience I've had with an Amazon purchase
I have purchased three train horn kits in the past and have always had a ton of success. I have them professionally installed and never attempt to do anything myself.Upon unboxing these horns, I instantly noticed a crack in the brass gauge. To avoid the hassle of returning, I purchased another one at my own expense. It was inexpensive. Not a problem. After installation, I tried the horns out. After a couple days, they started to sound worse and worse. I reached out to HookedOnTronics. They said they would send me a new horn if I would send them back. I told them that I would not pay to have the horns removed and then pay more a different to have new ones put on. They refused to comply. I hung up. After hanging up, the lady immediately called me back and told me they would comply with my request. I received the new horns and they work great.Fast forward a week. The compressor turns on 8 times for 2 second intervals in 60 seconds. Two of the fittings are starting to leak really bad and are getting worse. Not the fittings that are supplied that require teflon. The fittings that are permanently installed/welded to the compressor. In other words, the female adapters are leaking around where they touch the metal. I reached out to HookedOnTronics. They said if I sent the whole kit back to them, they would send a replacement. I again said that I shouldn't have to pay more to have the new kit put in a different time than when the old kit is taking out. I offered to provide them with a credit card to charge if they didn't receive the old kit. They will not do anything without receiving the old kit. I refuse to send the old kit until the new kit is received. I will have to pay the installer more to have them done at separate times. The train horns sound great. They are a little high pitched but are a great kit for the value. If you get the 2 out of 3 kits that work great, I would recommend purchasing these kits to anybody any day but working with HookedOnTronics has been a nightmare. Though it sounds ridiculous, I want to throw the entire kit in the garbage.

Well worth all the trouble
The air line they send is junk and most hardware is junk. I had to tap one thread and buy new air line and some fittings. Once that was out of the way the horns sound and look amazing. Well worth the purchase price and even for all the trouble on replacing fitting and air line its still a recommended purchase.

Great customer service
Works great . The compressor stopped working after just over a year and was no longer under warranty. Called their customer service and got a great deal on a new even better compressor.

Would've rated 4/5 but...Works as I expected although the pressure control switch should be a 120-150 instead of 170-200 since the hose that feeds the horn pops at high pressure. Also had an issue with the compressor and dealer replaced the part within a day without issue. Very please with the overall experience.
