Glitz Clamp Table lamp Swing Style

WARNING: DO NOT BUY THIS LAMP, ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE PRICE OF INR1200 (discounted) OR INR1700 (full price).I purchased this lamp because it looked suitable enough for my workbench as it has a clamp attachment and a swivel head with a thread mount for standard LED bulbs, which would've suitable for my tasks. The lamp also looks to be large size in the reference picture on the product page (where it looks to be about 45-50' in size). The material is said to be made of aluminium and sturdy so I decided to purchase it with the discounted price.Of course the lamp is not even half that size! The actual size of it is no more than 23 inches at full length! So the reference picture on the product page is a lie. The arm of the lamp is made of a very thin aluminium sheet that you can bend out of place with your bare hands, you don't even need pliers. This is not something that can hold any kind of weight or stress without crumbling. The joints in the arm are difficult to move without accidentally clamping your fingers every time you want to adjust the height of the lamp. Strike one.The clamp attachment at the bottom of the lamp has very short jaws (<2" wide and 3" tall) so the lamp will not fit on any surface that is smaller than 2 inches. Even when it fits, I would rather not attach the lamp to as the clamp itself is so flimsy, with a plastic threaded screw that does not even rotate evenly and does not sit straight. No metal parts! Amazing! the clamp is not even fit to hold power cables, it has no strength! forget attaching a full lamp to it! No way. and to add to that, the lamp attachment on it is just a groove that the lamp SLIDES INTO. THERE IS NO SET SCREW OR MECHANISM TO TIGHTEN OR LOOSEN THE GRIP ON THE LAMP ARM ITSELF. TERRIBLE DESIGN. STRIKE TWO.And finally, the packaging of the product itself. Amazon has graciously sent this poor excuse for a lamp to me in a container with cracks in it and styrofoam that was crumbled in the packaging. You can see in the pictures attached with this review the state of the packaging and how careless Amazon is with the packaging process for certain products. After taking the lamp out and examining it, it took me 20 minutes to sweep up the individual pieces of styrofoam that were scattered around my study. This is a health hazard as I have two dogs and styrofoam can get lodged in their tracheas and they could suffocate. This is not something that should be overlooked and there is NO excuse for poor packaging. Strike Three.And to top it off all off, Amazon has refused to take this terrible product back and refund me, and are now pushing a replacement for this. I will keep trying to return it but for anyone reading this, I cannot stress this enough: Please DO NOT buy this lamp from this seller and manufacturer, no matter what. This has been a terrible experience for me and no one has the time to deal with this kind of tomfoolery in their lives. This is extremely shady and backhanded behaviour on their part. I have installed this Lamp on my Daughters Desk. The desk itself is 4' * 2'. Among other things she has a 24" Monitor on this desk. The Lamp looks nice, is very versatile in terms on angle and position. The hinges are great as well and holds position once set. The only negative feedback on this Lamp is the Arms are a bit small. So if I am reading a book on the edge of the desk, the Lamp does not completely reach the edge. Also, at some angles, I get a glare.

This is a good product but could have been sturdier. Does the job and is fair price for the product.

Bought this screw-on lampshade for my fish tank. It not only serves my purpose but also looks stunning.-1 star cause I had a little tough time securing because the measurements given aren’t accurate, it’s much bigger and heavier that we anticipated. Also, the screw-in stand needs a good 2.5-3inches of an edge to be securely fastened, if it’s any less the screw won’t sit.Other than that the quality of the lamp is impressive and certainly durable.
